I’d been locked up for about 20-30 days and my bunkie made a break called a “dope fiend” for someone’s birthday. It had Kit-Kats, Snickers, Pop-Tarts, Famous Amos cookies and the iced white honey buns in it. Never had sugar get me so high in my entire life 😂. I was in there tweaking from eating 1/5 of it and I understood why they called it a “dope fiend”.

As a CO, you get to see some really cool ideas happen. Every once in awhile if Im working swing shift, a unit that gets along will have their own pot-luck with commissary items. The ones down for it will add to a table certain items they need and make a dinner before dayroom is up. Seen them make a badass frito bandito dish that looked good enough for me to make at home at one point lol.

I was locked up 52 days in county for WEED. My boy YB made a noodles burrito and we didn't have actual burritos. Bread from sandwiches were rolled out thin and he made a cheese sauce from Cheetos. Mannnn it was good around midnight because dinner was served at 5

I was able to do sticky toffee pudding and custard in the kettle when I was in years ago and some tuna dishes lol I was a passman so cell door was always open just locked up from 9.15pm to 7am open the rest and wandered the halls with other passmen getting everything from the new one's who would come in woth stuff first or help them out with smokes n foil for there drugs lol I'm so glad to be away from that life but going on the pass made life alot easier for you tell you that! Everyone needed you at sometime to go around doors when they were locked up!

I was locked up in Hartford for a little bit, me and this guy Tom made a cake for this dude Schmurda when he got his GED in there. I made the frosting out of hot chocolate mix with a tiny bit of milk, and we wrote his name using duplex cookie filling
