in califorina its a rule to not even speak to police. more serious gangs and groups will not tolerate anyone speaking to polic esp in pods. You let police walk thru and leave as quick as possible so they dont spend time in the pod to potetianly catch or notice something.

Yeh because they don’t have cleaners, either the inmates clean or they don’t, the only thing the people in charge do is feed you and tell you when to get up and when to go to bed. You need something painted? Inmates. Need something cleaned? Inmates. Yeh they have nurses that hand out sleeping pills, yeh they have nurses that MIGHT help you if you beg them long enough. But that’s about it. Inmates pretty much do everything that needs to be done. Put it like this, anything that needs to be done that requires certification isn’t done by inmates. Any job that doesn’t need certification and training the inmates do. Cooking, cleaning, painting, lawn mowing etc is all inmates. And do I blame the inmates for not doing anything and the place looking horrible. Well not exactly. Because the state is paid on avg like $100/day/inmate. So the state could easily hire outside help to do it all. But that’s not how the kidnapping extortion scam works. It only works if you kidnap them and force them to do everything.

And to keep the germs down so they don’t have to pay for your medical expenses if you get sick

Good job staying out and changing your ways. I changed my ways 17 years ago. Luckily before I went to prison but I was very close. Took me two violations on deferred probation. One more and I would of gone to state. So I’ve just done little bits in county. A couple days here and there. A week when I got my charge then bonded out. 6 months my first violation then was send to a rehab/half way house and then 7 months my second violation and was sent to another rehab/half way house.

Exactly what I was thinking lmao . Captain was in there while they had headbands and blankets over them so you know it's chill. Especially since a fight didn't pop off right there . That would have been a fight 90 percent of the time

The isolation block had a shower that id get every rec to push and it would flood our block. Took them a month to fix it but it made them so mad haha

I bet they’re big ass jails in Philly tho. I suppose I got lucky when I went to jail. They have 5-8 man runs so everyone is in a little pod but cell doors are unlocked all day. When I was there for 2 months it was full so I was in this weird back room with only 2 cells and had it’s own door and shit so you couldn’t hear the other people yelling as much. So I didn’t have to worry about a bunch of people going through my shit when I was at a visit, getting in a fight etc. oh and the normal pods have their tv a hood distance away. Ours was like 6-8 feet from the beds in the cells. The only downside was the other person in the 2 man pod. I had a dude who couldn’t get out of his cell at all except to go to exercise cause he killed his mom and his moms dog. He screamed all day but was only in my pod for 2 weeks. Then I got a chill dude heading to prison for like a week. Then I had it to myself for like 3 weeks. That was dope, in my own pod that’s quiet. Then the last two weeks there they put a dude next to me who got beat up in another pod cause he’s a chomo. I hated living next to him for 2 weeks but I bit my lip and just watched tv for 2 weeks till I got out. If I had actual time to do I would have hurt that sick fuck. And I think the jail knew I wasn’t gonna fuck this dude up and catch a charge when I was getting out in 2 weeks.

montgomery county jail is basically both combined lmao... Q pod (quarantine) is your first stop, 16 man cells with black mold growing everywhere. You sit there for about 3 weeks and then you either go to the new part of the jail or the old part. the newer part is usually probation violators where the old part is just other shit. the new part is 32 man cells across from each other, so 64 total people on that block, in your 32 man cells you can basically do whatever you want and be as loud as you want 24/7 and it has tables in the 32 man cell to sit at etc... and then you have the bathroom in the middle, day room out a door right near the bathroom. The old part is just your normal 2 man cells and much rougher. montco jail is a bad stop my friend. terrible.
