I love Luzia Adajio and the song Tiembla La Tierra so much, I just wish the album had the slow version of it, (I’ve learned how to sing both- the slow version and the pop version). As a Mexican American I love the message of the song and being able to sing it fully in Spanish, that being of don’t cry and don’t feel sad when the earth shakes as change will happen and occur no matter what I also love how this 60 minute special includes Corteos original tight wire act which is accompanied by the song El Cielo Sabra, which is taking about how only the heavens know and how it is liberating in the end

Cirque’s productions are meant to not have cohesive storylines and plots. They’re about evoking emotions and creating acts around them. Corteo is about the death of a clown and his funeral is the show. Luzia is about the culture of Mexico and its beautiful intricacies. Volta is about the human experience as it relates to finding your inner strength and passion.
