I found a puppy in the street it was frail, filthy dirty & flea ridden, I nursed it back to health & gave it to the Asian family down the road as I had heard they wanted one, they were so grateful, they couldn't thank me enough, they even invited us to dinner, I've never had Dog Curry before, it was excellent, now they are looking for a Panda.

@@wacanimal Animals do give unconditional love, but at the same time they are not things. They have their own personalities and quirks and choices. If you want to give an animal, let the person go choose the animal. Don’t choose the animal and then give it to the person like it’s a T-shirt or a new pair of shoes. It’s a living breathing creature with its own mind. It’s not a new dress to be given.

Those military "coming home" videos are just "look at me" cringe-maxing performance art. Seriously, you think service members can't email? They don't have cell phones? Like it's some kind of a big surprise when they rotate home? Showing up unannounced like this happened 80 years ago. Not anymore.
