Finaly got my hands on WoflBox UHF Long Range 433Mhz system.
It has to give 10-40Km range and with good antenna even more.
In next video will show how to bind and configure Taranis transmitter and how to set FailSafe.

In city, nothing will work normally to many RF noise. Try TBS CrossFire.

Hi, i think not, as it does not have external module slot? you need other tipe of orls system, what converts your transmitter 2.4 ghz signal to 433mhz. you connect your AFDHS receiver to OLRS via wire to wire PWM, and put 433h to your model.

Actually it work on a flysky fs-i6, you will have to 3d print a bay for it to fit in, and use the ppm signal from the trainer port along with and external power source, cause i don't think the transmitter batteries are strong enough to power bought. Am actually looking to get one soon.

why it is written 1 to 40km while with the standard antena it covers 1.5km. it is ridiculous statement. if you buy signal amplifier for 2.4g then you can get 3km or just buy EZUHF or from black sheep. more money but not wasted.

exactly! buy EZUHF, it does not depend, you always get the range you want. as you said: this thing provides a very fragile range. you do not know what you pay for.

It can work with any system what has at least ppm input from rx. But! i would suggest you get an other type of UHF system, this works fine, but it's outdated, or better get 2.4ghz R9 system api.racer.lt/6ldb with slim receiver api.racer.lt/6ldc

You can use it as simple PPM channels retranslator. Connecting your RX to wolf TX it will then retranslate from your Futaba TX to futaba RX connected by wire to Wolf Tx (take 3-10 meters from Futaba tx for clean signal) -> long range wolf RX.

As long as Remote Controller has JR slot/port you can use similar units. But lately there are some complains about this unit ranges (2-4km), so i would more suggest something similar to this api.racer.lt/q0XJ or crossfire.

One is standard 2.4Ghz, other "module" is 433Mhz long range system.

Hi, you can set it as RSSI PPM out at any channel on rx. Witch version of APM you have? Usually it's 0 - 3.3 V (0-100 rssi).

for 433mhz it's better to have 155mm of exposed side, but it is good to measure it with oscelograph. few mm is to adapt for specific range of 433mhz

You could build your own 433Mhz OLRS system. That would be cheaper. This one is 500mw~ tx (can be boosted to 1w) with 100mw rx. Quite cheap.

I didn't fly more than 7km, but it can go more for shure. Don't forget to disable telemetry if you go far.

do you have any instructions how to connect to th9x? I used another box but can't bind it. not like the instructions for dx which are not applicable at aĺl. why they mentioned that it is compatible in the first place?

Works great until for no reason your RSSI drops to zero while flying LOS at medium range. Had two of these things and both intermittently failed at medium range. Garbage, don't trust your aircraft with this system.

At this time, cheaper and better solution is ELRS. mine wolf works still fine, but antennas are very big nowadays.
