Just a note on the AC, I live in Texas too and the biggest help I've found when working in a hot garage or shop is to get as big of a dehumidifier as you can afford and put in in the middle of the room along with the AC unit. While AC units are dehumidifiers in a sense, the combined action of an "active" dehumidifier along with a "passive" dehumidifier (AC) makes them work great in hot and humid shops and cools down the room much quicker and much more efficiently. Also, if you need better lighting harbor freight has awesome cieling shop lights for really cheap and they're very well worth it.

I like the turbo noises! I’m not a front drive guy, or an eBay parts guy, but there’s something about a beater car you can learn on that’s not gonna kill you financially if it breaks. When I was living off ramen to build my drift car I daily drove a Ford Fiesta. It had 13 inch wheels and lime green paint(and a 15” sub in the trunk) and it was a hoot. Long live the beater! Yours is way cooler than mine was🤙

love this build so far! as far as the smell, put some charcoal in a bowl and put it in the back seat for a couple weeks. it will suck the ciggerette smell out but will not leave any odor in the car! had a car like that before it sucked! once its gone put some air freshners in and your set!

Hey Evan, if youre trying to undo the rear lower fork shock bolt and cant get it undone its because its a welded captive nut on the oem struts, undo it from the other side with a breaker and heaps of pb blaster!

Just a FYI its really easy to remove and install coil overs all you have to remove is the drop fork from the lca and the pinch bolt at the shock housing then it simply drops down n comes out after you take off the drop fork 👌🏽

Yo dude let me start by saying i watch your videos all the time and i find them quite entertaining however you have the opportinity to show others how to do stuff and there are some people out there who use your channel as a learning platform which brings me to the civic . The fact that you bought an ebay kit speaks volumes to soo many people around the world who can only afford to buy an ebay kit for their car so even it its super cheap it still makes someone happy soo dont joke about that. And i also want to say if you are gonna do it, DO IT RIGHT, dont just do things without a care in the worls and say " bcos ebay" . We all know that the kit can work but you need to do it right. I've been watching and i noticed you didnt show a clutch for this build. You need a clutch. Anyway im excited to see u doing a budget build eventhough we kno your plans for the car in the future but treat this segment of the buold with the same care and respect that you treat your other builds..... keep up the good work.

Prob need to change the ecu and cluster could be why there’s a check engine light besides no O2 sensors cuz it was converted to manual

Careful for the subframe rear bolts on the trailing arm knuckle they like to seize up and can possibly stripped bolts out of the frame or out of the knuckle itself. Caution
