He completely outplayed her, and won. Not at chess, but at the game he was playing, which was to get attention. He's obviously an obsessive fan and everything about what he did was designed to draw attention to himself and get him noticed by Anna, and now she made a video specifically about him, even showing his face on her channel. He is over the moon with this result.

Her real reaction was at twitch stream 4 days ago at 02:09:40, and she was so nice about it. After the queen retreat move she immediately snapped into super serious mode. After she realized she blundered mate she squeeled. Then after the game said she retired at chess and left the room, quickly came back and was super nice about it and genuinely asked how this was possible. Then found the 98% accuracy, again asked him how that was possible. She never called him a cheater once. Classy!

What are you trying to say. Hans Niemann admittedly cheated online, maybe even a lot. For OTB there is no evidence whatsoever that he ever cheated, and yet his classical chess rating is 2700.

He didn't actually beat her though since he didn't come up with moves himself. You have to play the moves yourself to beat someone. I don't understand how that could make him feel like he beat her.

This is elo rating vs online rating, Anna is 2050 atm if I remember well (though she peaked at nearly 2200 in the past)

When I was around 800ish (currently 1,000) I played a game with 92% accuracy. I was soooooo happy and excited! I couldn't believe I played so well.... and then I was scared! I thought someone was gonna think I was cheating 😱 lmao but I shouldn't have worried... it was a bad game on both our parts and we both played some unorthodox moves, so no worries. (If you're interested in reviewing it Anna, let me know)

If your opponent is consistently worse than you, you'll get high accuracy naturally, even if you're average player.

Haha. I played a 2000 ish on Lichess as a 600. I played Something like 92% accuracy 15/10 min game. I lost, but I bet he/she thought I was cheating. I was super focused as I appreciated the higher ranked player not abandoning the game like many seem to do.

accuracy itself alone is meaningless. ... at least in "detecting cheater" if "best moves" are intuitive, then everyone can get there. it depends on how hard the game itself is. and other factors I know nothing about because I'm just a player.

How is your software set up so you see those accuracy reports? Thank you for sharing the game. It’s refreshing that when you make a not so good move, you just admit it and move on. Great life lesson.

7:52 you should definitely report him regardless. A report does not mean an automatic ban. Reporting someone for cheating for playing an insanely good game isn't a bad gesture. If you're wrong, nothing will happen, and life moves on.

erm, i have rating below that, and i wouldnt have gone for the queen exchange either. sometimes low rated players have good games. my second ever game(online) i beat a 900. sometimes you have 3 or 4 losses in a row, and your rating crashes. imo the ratings system isnt flawless.

Spotting cheaters is so easy. I'm 1800-1900 blitz and I can instantly see if a 1500-1600 is a cheater.

It DIDN"T Backfire...... create account, troll a titled player, win and laugh, enjoy your win, enjoy the cheating, embarass the titled player, troll more, get a video, more trolling, get banned, big deal, create new account, hunt for another titled player. It's HORRIBLE, yes, but it's online chess.......which is why online chess is NOT a sport.

When they are low rated and they play like Carlsen or Fischer you know they are running Stockfish on a secondary computer at their side. I have encountered this myself online.
