PSA if anyone goes to Bkk and wants to stay at The Quarter HL: The views from The Quarter Hua Lamphong are great, but the beds are terrible! There are a lot of nice restaurants in Talat Noi (I recommend Mana Craft for a late breakfast!), a 7/11, and a bunch of food stalls behind the hotel, as well as access to buses and the train stations close by as mentioned in the video. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel because of the terrible beds, but if you like your beds springy, then it’s a pretty good spot! Source: I stayed in this hotel in November 2022 for 5 days. Hotels I would recommend instead for similar prices (not in Talat Noi though): T2 Residence Sathorn, Seekers Finders, and Hotel Thomas (ever so slightly more expensive than the other two suggestions).

Hey, I'm Thai person and your fan here! Really good to see your trip to my country, although weather here is hot(normal day in Thailand). If you come here next time. You may wanna try out Bangkok metro trains (Airport rail link, and other fancy color lines especially purple line which have Japanese-made rolling stocks), metro boats, buses. Visit more many places in Bangkok. Did you know that in Sukhumwit area, There are some Japanese town here! In addition, I recommend you to take a ride on Thai long distant SRT trains. There are some tourist line that operating with キハ-183(which donated from JR hokkaido) rolling stock. The one of these is a tourist route between Bangkok and Ayuthaya and return back to Bangkok with offer for a tour of Ayuthaya temples, cultures and more (just 1000 bath per trip)! And you may not wanna missed to checkout (new, ONLY NEW) SRT sleeper trains, there is some refurbushed JR blue train and (maybe not)newly bought Chinese made sleeper train car too! For your first time in Thailand, you have chosen well. From eating to knowing that it's not worth 500thb to go to the tourist trap temple. Hope you get an opportunity in the future to travel to more of Thailand. The north of Thailand is amazing, and the train to Chiang Mai would make a great trip video!

Solo-san trying motorbike/scooter is so funny 😅 welcome to the most Southeast Asia things ever: riding a bike without helmet 🎉 it's a shame that you didn't try to ride tuk tuk, but seeing you only have 3 days and already planning to the next country explains the tightness of the schedule. Stay safe and stay hydrated wherever you are. Don't forget to bring an umbrella :D

We just finished watching this video and we really enjoyed it, just like the ones we’ve watched in the past. My wife is Nihonjin but I’m Gaijin. She helps explain the meals I’m unfamiliar with. But I enjoyed this one a lot because I went to Thailand in ‘69, when I went on R&R while I was stationed in Nam, Chu Lai 1st MAW. Anyway, your humor is really excellent and entertaining. I remember one of the first videos I saw of yours was the lowest price overnight train trip where you basically slept in a common area with your space curtained off. You have come a long way.

Gotta say it’s true when you’re insulting or even criticizing King, Royal family or even former royal family you could be in charged or arrested in Thailand. And for most of cinema, theater or concert halls they gonna open royal theme song before the show that time is when most of people standing. Anyway nice video as always. 👍
