This morning, we are taking Japan Airlines from Dallas, USA to Tokyo (Haneda). Japan Airlines used to fly this route with business class in 2-2-2 configuration, but not this time. We have 2-3-2 instead.

Nice very but wow that is pricey, I flown JAL business class a bit over 1.5 years ago from MCI-DFW-NRT-BKK for a bit over $2,000. The meals service from DFW-NRT was on demand back then, which I really enjoyed. Looks like they changed it, Hope the new aircraft will service from DFW to NRT or HND really soon. I feel the seats layout of the old aircraft is a little awkward for window seat to getting in and out.

I agree with you. I also flown the same route DFW- HND in early 2022. I felt the seat on 777 was a bit narrower compared to 787(I assume). Not a problem for me to get in and out, but maybe uncomfortable for a bigger person. I know their soft products are unbeatable but also really hope they will use A350 soon.
