The door is shut but the flap is open I think?

The firebox door is actually in 2 parts, the main part [which you may see[ has a lift up bolt when you lift it [not in steam of course] you can gain access, feet first holding onto the shelf above, I steam, the flap that you can see is held up with a drop down bar, which has crocodile teeth so you can vary the hinge opening, Been there done it on No 9
