7/24/10 -- Charleston, WV, State Theater. During Reverend Billy's Revival with The Mountaintop Gospel Choir, 600Lbs Of Sin got handclap and vocal backing from choir and tons of love all around with their song about the Upper Big Branch mine explosion.

This is the best reply on this UpLoad of a song/group that I have been a fan of for nearly a decade now, and I have never put the 2 & two together b4 about the GratefulDead lyric, "600lbs of Sand"... but these folks do hold it well... their Sand, that is. Although I am kinda disappointed in hearing this being introduced by a Preacher And being sung with what looks like his Choir, I do understand that any band would want all of the exposure that it can get in its early years. Bang on, 600lbs. of Sin!

Coal is coming back BIGLY! New coal mines being opened every day. Hundreds of them. This you can believe me. We have rolled back worker safety regulations so good luck down in that hole fellas. The new clean coal is the best in the world. You take it out of the ground and scrub with Dawn dish soap and Viola!
