What do you mean? 1:22 She even said before the interview that she wasn’t allowed to interrupt him while he was speaking. She added commentary that wasn’t part of the interview in the video to reference certain points, but she never spoke over him. Irregardless, she’s a veteran journalist. It must have been hard for her to do this interview cuz she’s used to being in control of her OWN interview. She has to get answers quickly & confront the person she’s interviewing if they’re not factual. Here in America, we can interview our leaders & interrupt & talk over them. I understand respect for our world leaders & all. Like standing up for them, wearing the head scarf & not interrupting him, but this was more about dominance. Women aren’t treated fairly there

I think it is more about publishing past interviews/videos about a subject that has become recently relevant due to recent news, in order to get views, rather than controlling the narrative. He died in a helicopter crash, he is all over the news, so, it is understandable for news channels to leverage this and publish past interviews with him.

What’s the difference between this and them playing it on TV? They receive ad revenue either way. This strikes me as the exact thing the news would cut to while covering the crash; can’t you imagine a host/anchor saying, “Several years ago we actually had the chance to sit down with President Ebrahim - here’s Leslie Stahls interview on 60 Minutes.” You wouldn’t think twice seeing that on TV but if they upload the episode separate on KZfaq it’s because they’re desperate ad revenue? Literally, there is this military conscription called sarbazi in Iran , that men over age 18 have to take part in, in order to get simple passport and can legally own a house or business or even a business permit. simply say : you are not recognized as Iranian man without it , the catch is that the first 20 years after your main conscription you are a ready trained force and in case of war they will have you returned in battlefield. Now my sarbazi ended 2 years ago , so if you guys start a war in next 18 years it's literally me and other boy civilians that fight it , and I mean I just wanted a passport for some traveling and went to sarbazi. Now I'm stuck with this potential war...

@eho6380 I think he's referring to the fact that he is going to be forced to fight in a war against the people of whatever country Iran deems responsible. Not Civil War. He won't be fighting for his freedom. This a country whose leaders are without scruples. If you refuse to comply with its leaders, then they will hurt your family, so simply refusing to fight and trying to start a resistance is not as easy as it sounds.
