60 Minutes, the most successful American television broadcast in history, began its 52nd season in September. The average audience for a 60 Minutes broadcast is 150% higher than those of the network morning news programs; the audience dwarfs the number of viewers drawn by the most popular cable news programs.
About a million more people listen to the 60 Minutes radio simulcast in several major cities and on its companion podcast. Tens of thousands each week experience 60 Minutes online. @Truth Seeker Yeah they are only representing themselves if they spend more time preparing and doing speeches and interviews than any other part of their job. If their days are filled jet setting around pandering to the media and giving speeches then who is doing the job of legislating? We need elected representatives that think for themselves, not media chasers that take orders from the think tanks and corporations that got them elected. For example, we need a functioning president not a 4 year promotion tour.

People are tired of political dynasties, that's why Jeb Bush lost, that's why Clinton lost. Her husband shipped every remaining job in the rust belt to China and Mexico. Then heavily de-regulated Wall Street. Also, it's pretty much a fact she stole money from Haiti. Plus, it's kinda strange that we all knew she would be the 2016 candidate after she lost to Obama in 2008. No one person should have the DNC in their pockets. Pretty obvious if you love this country why she was a terrible pick on the DNC's part. 6 years later and I am still baffled when people ask why she lost.
