And even though Helmet Head Hillary got more popular votes, Trump won the electoral college. We live in a republic called the USA, not in a democracy called the United PEOPLE of America. This republic was built as a union of states. Therefore STATES elect the president. If 99.9% of Californians voted for one candidate it does not mean California should hold higher importance than Texas where that same candidate LOST 51%-49%.
