+the meme man he's a middle linebacker or a 3-4 defense that's what he's gonna get the most. On passing downs his priority is to patrol the middle and blitz once in a while and ints are hard to come by for him when he plays in a team that had no pass rush. And still the best in the league! Can't believe he's this low smh

Only because he wasn't ranked last year, 39 spots into the top 100 plus the jump from however far he was from 100 is pretty good. He'd be higher if he'd been in the top 100 last year

Walle. Completely. It was so much more fun when both teams were at the top of the NFC. That championship game where Bowman got injured was such a great game, and was easily the peak of the rivalry.

Yep. He's an outstanding player but I respect him more when he blew his knee out. Any other player would have dropped the ball and grabbed their knee in pain. He hung onto the ball and didn't fumble it. Superficial? yes. Respect though for his toughness and and mental toughness. A man among men.

Good God, I remember that injury he had in the NFC Championship Game. I thought for sure his career was over. The fact that he came back after that and showed he still got it is a testament to what kind of player he is. From a Ravens fan

Bowman was arguably the best inside linebacker this year Lead league with 154 tackles, 19 pressures at ILB, 2.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble Don't worry Panthers fans, Luke Kuechly still played better than him imo He was THE DEFENSE #49erEmpire #RedandGold #49erFaithful Now, just waiting for salty Seahawks fans saying Bobby Wagner > NaVorro Bowman

He played well for coming back from injury, but he was not very good in coverage. That is where Wagner and Kuechly do better, partly because they're faster.

As a 9er fan, I thank you for your comment. However, Kuechly played better in a better atmosphere, and he would have had around the same number of tackles if he didn't suffer a concussion and sat out

In my opinion he should be higher. Coming off of a crazy injury and being the lead tackled by a pretty good margin, he should be top 50 at least if not top 30.

If he hadn't suffered that terrible injury, I think he would be the best or at least top 5 linebackers today. He was a complete all around player, nearly unstoppable when he was fully healthy. I never felt like he got enough recognition because he was over shadowed by future hall of fame line backer Pat Willis, who also was a great line backer.

Any one who says bowman is not good in coverage is because he is still recovering. He was great when healthy. Still can read plays. And check out one of his sickest pick sixes. Type in bowman pick at the stick.
