Support main here who suddenly got the urge to jungle, on Kayn specifically. I'm pretty terrible, which is why im here i guess. But i do love the games where it makes sense to go Red. Had one game vs Sion toplane, Skarner JG and Jax midlane - i went 9/5/25 (in unranked) but still. I could easily go head to head with sion and skarner simultaneously, its amazing. I do usually follow build paths but i do love that experimenting aswell, i really like Hexplate as an item and went it>Shojin>New item Overlords bloodplate. Hexplate probably isnt "it" but hey, it worked out great in that game.

is it ok to build cleaver second still instead of shojin?

The issue with Rhaast is that there is not enough armor pen in the game anymore.. Bruisers like Vi, Jarvan and Wukong are just a lot stronger because they have armor reduction directly in their kit : - Vi has 20% - Jarvan 26% - Wukong 30% The only reason Rhaast was viable in high elo was the Eclipse, Black Cleaver and Serylda build with ghost as a sum, which made him very strong into tanks, now you just take too much time to kill tanks and late game if you build Black Cleaver you actually get outscaled and can't kill them anymore, it's ridiculous that a scaling anti tank champion can't kill tanks anymore. And not only that but all those champions have better in fight mobility, same or more CC and are stronger early game.. I'm a Kayn OTP with almost 1 millions mastery and my prefered playstyle always has been ignite/ghost Kayn going full agressive on enemy Jungler, but now it's not viable anymore since everything outscales you other than Lee Sin, Nocturne and Xin Zhao, which are broken early and mid game allowing them to get enough of a lead if played correctly that you can't win anyway.. Bruisers champions need to have either great mobility or strong front lining to shred tanks, now Rhaast doesn't have either, and even Aatrox is forced to go full lethality builds. Now I only play Blue Kayn when there are 4 squishies and the rest of the time I just abuse Taliyah and Viego like every cringe high elo.. The only way I see Rhaast being actually good again is they give him 20% armor pen based on health since they like that concept of forcing him to build HP, then it would be great again, but till they do something like that Rhaast becomes very very team dependent.

I have enjoyed the Rhassassin era but, it's time to move on - Classic Rhaast is BACK!

dark harvest is sleeper op on rhast tbh its better than conq for me literally minimum in a game I get 3000 dmg with dark harvest or something ccocmpare to conq, tbh this kayn player played kinda horribly in early game

nah, don't fall for it, rhaast is still a tad bit weak. outperformed by junglers like reksai, or volibear. Yes, volibear after nerfs is still stronger than rhaast after 2 buffs in a row. crazy.
