The pillow is just low sheen white paint, with no floetrol, water or glue? The pouring medium is 3 parts white low sheen paint to 1 part varnish? Finally, the activator is Floetrol, titanium white paint, titanium white paint, glue and ink. If this is correct, can you please tell me the ratios for the cell activator recipe. Thank you

Thank you so much for this video Julie. I am new to Pouring and am having a lot of trouble getting my consistencies right. This idea of measuring the flow rate on a tile will be a great help in learning to match my consistencies. Thank you! Btw... in some of your videos you have mentioned that you run classes. Do you still run them? I am about 2 hours away and would love to attend some if possible.

There is ink in your cell activator? Is that needed or just your recipe?

the method for measuring viscosity is use of a Zahn cup. you can get plastic ones from amazon for cheap. the stainless pro versions are expensive.

Great idea Julie! Thanks for sharing as I found the e-course seriously lacks a lot of explanations! :)

Me too. I've learned more from Julie and Kanella than I did the course

I tried my first bloom today and it was a disaster. My pillow was like lumpy pudding and my CA like glue. Definitely not the right consistency. Since I cannot get your products here in Europe (for a reasonable price), I had to improvise with equivalent products, which changes the consistency dramatically. Thanks for the video. It’ll help enormously.

Julie, is it ok to add distilled water to the paints for the bloom method? I can't get the consistency right but haven't heard any of the artists mentioning using it

Hi I absolutely love your channel. Sometime of ago I purchased your varnishing video, however I think it went to spam and got deleted. Is it possible to resend it to me. I appreciate your help. Thank you.

I think the yellow is thicker... it's nearly leaving mounds.. not disappearing..
@gangstamum4 жыл бұрын
If your bloom colour is too thick just add a little more gloss varnish
