I love flatheads, probably my favorite freshwater fish to catch! Caught a 40lb flathead and a 45lb blue this year, both my pbs. Enjoyed the video.

I live in the Kiev region, the village of Sosnovka, with my beloved grandmother, and she is the only one I have left of all the close people in this beautiful world. Unfortunately, my parents are no longer there. Grandma got cancer a year ago, she's been lying down for like the fifth month. She needs constant care. We live, so to speak, on retirement and my part-time job. we spend out of these pension funds on utility bills and medicines. Although we live in a one-room apartment, we pay about 3 thousand hryvnias and about 5 thousand hryvnias for medicines necessary for life, well, state benefits. As a result, we make ends meet. Great, wholesome fishing from the USA.... sweet! Nick, you always tend to scoop at the fish with your landing net, my dad would clip me round the earhole if I scooped the landing net! He'd tell me that he taught me to lower the net, bring the fish over the net and lift it out, if you're scooping, you're rushing the play, and you lose the fish. Just sayin', dude. My dad was/is a great teacher, loves ya Pops! 🤍

I was out carp fishing in the Uk yesterday, had a great day, me and my mate had over 10 between us in pretty intense heat, my biggest, a 12lb 2oz Mirror Carp! Great to see the king of the spillway back at the spillway bro!!! Keep up the fantastic work!

Not surprised you had those Catfish on the nightcrawlers, when there is colour in the water it usually means there has been a lot of rain and the worm burrows get flooded, they then come to the surface and if they are near the water they fall in. The fish know this and hang around the margins for an easy meal. Had some cracking fish down the years in the slacks by chucking a worm in when the rivers are in flood
