Love it! We love river camping but are still learning. I would love to see a gear video or more videos like this.

You need to learn how to use braid line. It works great for me and I fish a spillway and rivers and streams that have a high amount of snags and hang ups. The true advantage is yardage in which gives you the ability to horse fish out if you need to. I run mine at lower than the pound test strength.

It's amazing how well produced these videos are. You should have 2+mil subs on that alone

Your videos always gets me jazzed for fishing! I shot my PB common carp at 28in, 18.6lb yesterday with my bow and got myself a new rebel xr sit-on once the storms let up a bit. As always, I am loving your videos my guy!

In those sections that you are just paddling through you should troll a spinner or a crankbait. You never know what you could catch!!

Where do you get such small hooks. I have a little pond under a super small bridge on my way to school. It's really tiny but it has a solid number of fish in it. I keep trying to make my own hook but every time I go they end up being too big for the little fishes to bite. If anyone could tell me where to get these hooks, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for changing up the music, goals, and style of your videos recently without changing the theme or feel. TBH, the videos over the past year or so felt monotonous (still enjoyable, and I'd have kept watching), but with these changes you've successfully recaptured the excitement I had when I first started watching years ago! ❤

Thoroughly enjoyed this episode! It was good to see you venture from the spillways to fish a creek, do some camping and enjoy company of friends. Great Brown Trout caught, I miss catching them. Hope you do more content like this in the near future.

In the old days when I was younger we sometimes grilled brown trout directly where we caught them: If you have salt, pepper and lemon they are deliscous. Really monsterous river brown trout you caught here. In America you put brown trouts in rivers, In Europe we used to put rainbow trouts into our streams.
