Imagine this: they have diagnosed your best friend with cancer. His family is now facing the exuberant cost of treatments and has to sell their club car. How far would you go to keep your best friend in the club?
Our story starts with an award-winning '62 Chevy Impala Lowrider built by Carlos Gomez, President of Majestics Lowrider Car Club, North Carolina.
In this interview, Carlos shares his passion for lowriding and the dedication it takes to become Chapter President in one of the world's most prestigious lowrider car clubs-the Majestics Lowrider Car Club.
Carlos opens up about what it was like to migrate to the United States from Mexico. He shares how he almost lost his father as they traveled one of the deadliest migration routes in North America. And how, after all the struggles to get to the USA, life didn't become immediately easier.
Finally, we'll meet Sheraldton Chavis, Carlo's best friend. After being diagnosed with cancer, Sheraldton began chemotherapy and had to prioritize responsibilities to focus on treatment. Treat of being dropped from his car club lingered. As time ticked by, Carlos did the unthinkable to ensure his friend's membership didn't lapse.

That plaque really really is one of the best looking plaques ever made. I stepped down from the Majestic's over ten years ago, Not for a day have I stopped being a lowrider, I just stopped fooling myself into thinking that I was not alone, those are nice car's and that was truly a deep story. I can relate I almost died in 03 from abbessed tooth I was told if I survive the surgery it would be a miracle I had to sign a next of kin paper and present it to my sons mother doctor gave me a 30% chance of waking up 2 hours later all my teeth out I wake up the doctor told me you sir are the toughest person iv ever met I'm glad i made it I'm a fighter and it's what kept me here so thanks for this story it made reflect and appreciate life that much more 🙏🏻👏🏼👊🏼👍🏻💯💯🤘🏻

Carlos was so busy helping a few guys load cars on flatbeds in the morning it delayed filming a bit. He wasn't required to help them but wanted them to be safe hauling a few cars across the country. Carlos is incredibly selfless.. Thanks for telling your story!

Man you have a good hart brother, like an angel.. this is a great story. it's hard to believe that some people still think that we come here to steal . i migrated to this country in 1980 working hard ever since. i have never been convicted of any crime.. and finaly in 2007 i started my own business which is doing great. i love USA & MEXICO. my lowriders 1949 chevy 100 , 1959 chevy wagon, 1958 fury plymouth, 1959 desoto,1959 dodge custom royal.
