10 .24 .2021 When my life experience amounted to 68 years, I began thinking about legacy and finishing well. I thought about my ten grandchildren and writing a book. And then reconsidered. I thought about how as individuals, young and old people alike, we seem to be reading less and less and focused on screens more and more. I thought about how as a species, our history seems to be rapidly relocating from the analog world of libraries, books, paper and pen. To a digital realm of data sets in the Cloud. This new for 2022, and I trust continually improving over the year, JwaGuitars youtube channel is a personal two for the price of one deal for me. Documenting my lutherie history in the shop while remembering some of people and places in my life story along the way. This in my intentional effort to finish well one day, in the shop, looking out over Church Lake. Trusting that the sum of these digital data sets will be more accessible than writing my memoir. Certain that the sum of these digital data sets will prove more interesting and encouraging than slogging through the pages of a poorly written book by a family patriarch.
