I have snorkled/skin dived for many years. Even going 20 feet can have soooo much pressure on your sinus cavities. To be able to equalize, I have to hold my nose and blow. I cannot imagine 633 feet. WOW. How does he even survive decompression? wow! amazing!

Yep! Skin divers going after pearls, abalone, salvage can go 90-110ft and can hold their breath for 6-8min bc they do breathing exercises (some use drugs, as well). Yeah but 600+, hell you need a pressurized suit with a line of air

I'm confused. When u dive down that deep, don't you have to come back up slowly due to the change in pressure or face life-threatening consequences? I think that whole process would take longer than even the best diver could hold their breath which is why I believe this is fake. I feel like the other divers could've let him breathe from their tank. Any experienced divers care to chime in??

+samxyx Only if you're using external breathers. Since he held his breath there was no change in air pressure. Also, with practice and training you can be capable of holding your breath for several minutes. I'm not an experienced diver or anything, I just read this somewhere a couple years ago. If I'm wrong, my bad lol

+samxyx That is only when you use external breathing apparatus which contains Nitrogen. Nitrogen is the one dangerous when going up so fast. He did not breath Nitrogen so its fine. But FYI, this video is fake he didn't really reach the bottom.
