Hey there all the way from Sweden!. Here's a tip on a rare melodic instrumental prog rock album that I think you would like from my hometown in Sweden. The band is called *Atlas* and the album is called *Blå Vardag* (blue days). They only released that one album in 1979. I got mine for 7 bux in a well sorted vinyl shop, they didnt know the value of it. It goes for about 100-200 dollars on Discogs so I got lycky there. Its a good album, I think you would like it.

I was in Asheville recently too. I'll get around to making a video sooner or later. It wasn't a honey hole this go round but Asheville stores always deliver the goods. I hit up Harvest, Static Age, and Voltage.

I think that this guy is very intelligent about vinyl. So much that I think he should start a grading company similar to what is done with ball cards and comic books. Even pair him up with another reliable person where you could send in your record to have the disc and the sleeve graded seperately and then score it overall and then they could have it incapsulated to protect it. It would be sweet to have this service and I think someone like noble records would be a great person to do it.

Beautiful stuff man. Simply Saucer is an all time favorite. Made my Top 100 Psych series. 74 recorded, first released in 89. Look for the orig on Mole Sound. You'll find it...

Bonny Light Horseman's debut was also a fave of mine in 2020 and I've been waiting on my local go-to indie shop to come through with my copy of the new record up here in Montreal (sometimes a little delay of a few weeks up here in Canada). Let me also say that Anaïs Mitchell's (she's part of BLH) self-titled record from earlier this year was stellar as well and highly recommended.

Some transitional blue notes don't have the P for plastelite as well. Some of them are so hard to find . Great stuff as always bud.

The Grobschnitt (grob-shnit) album isn't an original Brain issue as you stated. The label being green doesn't tell the whole story. First of all, the original is on green Brain Metronome and second, the label color is a much deeper, darker green than the copy you showed. The real deal in at least M-/M- condition goes for around $125.

Yeah this is the 75 press not the 72. Sure a mint one could conceivably go for $125, but there are several VG+ copies currently for sale on discogs at around $50

My main point was to make the correction on what is the original issue. Regarding value, the Discogs page I looked at yesterday showed just one seller offering a VG+/VG+ original for $60, just as it's showing today. A VG+/VG+ copy (using Discogs' rating scale, not the New, Mint, M-, EX, VG+, VG, VG-, G+ one) is normally about half the value of a M-/M- copy and even less so than a truly Mint* one, but sellers sometimes sell a product for less due to various reasons - i.e., not knowing what they have, knowing what they have but not waiting to get a customer who is willing/able to pay the more accurate value, a.o. Still, one selling site/person/store doesn't necessarily establish or reflect a product's actual market value/range. (* Mint is rarely a true description because, in reality or in the eyes of the customer, this would likely mean the record/cover are like New and therefore perhaps never played, were stored and handled with utmost safety so there are no condition issues whatsoever, no matter how small. etc. These factors alone seem to make M- the highest grade assigned and for understandable reasons.)

Also can someone help me. I want to burn records to a macbook so i can then out them on youtube. I have a lot of demo albums from obscure punk bands from the 70s that arent on youtube yet. I just need the easiest and cheapest way to do it. I dont need anything to great cuz im not recording pink floyd. Any help is appreciated
