I do the exact same thing. I'm sure many do but I found that interesting. I will like save the meat and or veggies whatever I'm really enjoying in a meal. Taking bites of just plain rice, noodles etc so that my last bites are just great.

Next time you have a chance to have in n out again ask for the fries well done and they come out crisper similar to the ones you had there .. although those still look pretty tasty!
