Hi Bob! That is the nicest build i saw. How much the preheat time? How you calculated the rocket's chimney lenght? I tought that longer chimneys are better that the one you built. I saw that you made a test run with longer chimney on the rocket, so i think there is a reason for that... Is there anything that you would make differently on the next grill like this? (bigger rocket: eg: 7x7 or 8x8, adding insulation/mass to the box, different vent designs, something that helps hot air to circulate better, etc...)

This is definitely something I want to weld up for myself with my powerarc. What a great idea.

I was very surprised with the way this BBQ pit came out after welding the 6x6 square tubing rocket Stove into it. I was able to my surprise to get the temperature to a high of 400 degrees F. It cooked very well and the meat was tender and moist. This looks very cool. I just wonder how well it could hold a temp of 225-250 for the low and slow crowd. i like it a lot. Great build
