Good to see you back. Hopefully you're doing well. My biggest challenge is diagnosing anti-theft problems. A lot manufactures don't provide scope patterns of the antenna or even what pattern the the module(whichever module) sends a specific signal. I have found the best way is to practice on a good known vehicle and save the scope patterns for future reference. It could be really confusing if the key is bad, or the antenna or even the module sending the signal.I have Nissans where the body control module sends a pulse even if i disconnect the antenna connector. The bcm should send a pulse on both wires , nissan does not provide this information. It does but with the antenna connector connected. But i have experimented that with the antenna connector disconnected the bcm still should provide signal on both antenna wires, like for example on 2005 Nissan Altima. This is one of the examples. It would be great if you or any good technician post a video when there's an issue when diagnosing anti theft problems. Programming a key is easy as long as everything is working.
