Hey . Can you attach an external thermos water bottle 0.5 or 7.5 liter to the peak 6l sling somehow , in that way it to not figgle around 180nor 360 degrees, to stay in one place?

I like my PD Sling its great for what I carry regularly. So I totally agree with you about it working or non-photographers but still useable.

I had the Bellroy Sling for a while and sold it as it was too large and the front pocket is pretty useless IMHO. However, they released a mini version which also has some pockets inside the front pocket. I don't think it deserves a separate review, but I just wanted to let others who are interested in the Bellroy know about it.

Been debating about the right sling. I have a bag for when I carry my slr mirrorless but there are many times I just want my phone, dji om4, moment lenses and a few other accessories. I was thinking of the 3l peak design but the AER 2 has my attention.

Does anyone know of any slings where the bag part looks straight and not diagonal when wearing it? Idk why but that's the only think I don't like about slings. I find backpacks uncomfortable but just looking for a straight/non-diagonal look when on my back.

Being serious this time though. I absolutely love the Osprey Daylite. Now that you know that, is there one like it that you think I should check out? I lost my Osprey so I have to get a new one of some kind. I don't care for the square looking ones. To fanny pack looking for me. I like that tear drop looking traditional sling.

i've been using a mini kadet to carry my steam deck and accessories. would there be something similar with a bit more organization with in it? and or something with a removable strap so i can throw it in a bigger bag like a tech pouch

@@Nomads.Nation just watched your review on it. Must've said it looks pretty cool like the Boundary Supply's but am not sure its feasibility for camera. I have yet to get a camera myself (still new to it), but planning to in the future. I already have a PD EDC 20L, but looking for a smaller one, and also afraid of being too attached to PD and its long term comfort of wearing it. Do you think whether the PD's 10L is too big or the 6L is just enough for my requirements lol. Is it really that uncomfortable based on your review, like the sling strap/back ventilation?

Slings aren't really known for their amazing security features (at least the ones I've reviewed) but Aer's interlocking zippers should help. Check out the Aer Day Sling and Day Sling Max - good options imo

@@rondonato7443 if you are concerned about security, I can see your hesitation as some (very small) minority of people in this community thinks it's a security threat. If that's the case for you I'd recommend checking out Korin or Pacsafe. I've never reviewed any products by them but they are known for making bags that are highly secure

Height - 5'8. Chest size - I am pretty skinny but I used to go to the gym and did lots of bench pressing but since Covid I've been reduced to pushups in my living room when I don't feel super lazy. Hope that helps 😂

I found the peak design sling bag was too bulky. It has a lot of padding and it was hard to get my camera in and out easily. I’d just go for a proper messenger camera bag

@@Nomads.Nation I may be wrong on my terminology but I thought bolsters were like rigid inserts in bags that make the soft cloth more rigid so the bags don't flop around. Gives them more form rather than loose.

Another con for the AER Day sling 2. Not a good choice for left handed users. The 90 degree strap attachment doesnt make it ambidexterous.

Tough Zipper Hack #1 - Rub a small amount of Chapstick or Wax Lip balm on the tracks of the zipper. Pull the zipper over and back a couple of times and the two "zips" should glide right over each other.

My boyfriend has lots of bags and pouches. He plays with them day and night. I think he has the beginnings of dementia. I want to video him playing with them and post on KZfaq. I would like to read the comments if I did. I told him people would probably say I don't know why but this relaxes me to watch this. I laugh at him because it is obsessive.

This is a fantastic point and something I’m trying to keep in consideration. I live in Hong Kong (where 99% of homes have a gate key AND a front door key) but every time I visit my mom in New England it’s just a key pad - no key needed

Fanny packs are still totally a thing, but they typically go around the waist. Slings go around your torso. Thanks for watching! :)

Magnetic access and strap closures are incredibly not very secure. Hard pass on those from me.

I think magnets are are secure as zippers, buttons, and other normal opening/closing hardware. But yes, if you are really paranoid about theft then you should get an anti-theft sling

@@Nomads.Nation PacSafe all the way. I was looking at some Bellroy and they don’t even have RFID linings. Found some Alpaka slings that do.

@@bradl2636 still haven't reviewed a bag by Pacsafe yet, hopefully soon! My understanding is that RFID is a scam and actually doesn't do anything, but I'm no expert.
