very good and very short Introduction to demographic transition. Just one more point to the question about the still growing population though birthrates are falling. Something like 30 % of the population in the most populated countries is still young - and as their numbers are hight they still need to have babies - so population will keep growing.

I unplugged my computer after watching this.... And trying to kill everyone is a punk's way of solving the problem. Instead of just ending the entire situation how about you try and fix it so if or when it happens again we'll know how to deal with it.

overpopulation is not the problem!! the problem is climate change due to big companies using fossil fuels, and too cheap to switch to alternative energy. india has a high population but america is the biggest polluter in terms of energy use.

problem is people haven't changed there ways, they think it's still normal too have 7-16, it's not, the reason your ancestors had so many children is because nearly 3/4 of the 7-16 would die. with improved health care, infant mortality rates are a thing of the past....soon enough the population will get out of control and the government will lay down laws then people will rapidly increase the population out of spite.then we are in trouble.
