Let's face it, realistic expectations is the highway to failure. It's a mediocre attitude. Push yourself beyond what you think you capable of and what others say you can't do. Screw all of them, it's your life and you decide.

Thank you just started my engineering track and as someone who was really bad at math but will be great soon this gave me my confidence back

As much as I preach ambition and positivity, I want to keep realistic expectations and be practical also on this channel. Hope you guys resonate with that

I totally agree with the friends part: in my Bachelor time I had lots of fellow students with whom I studied a lot. That was helping everyone and was fun in the same time. In my Master this didn't happen again and it was really hard and just more lonely.

I think when things are lonely it can be brutal, I was having that issue in my PhD but luckily I have friends outside of school so that helped a ton

I’m in the gutter right now 💀. My applied linear algebra professor assumes we know everything so learning about subspaces has been tough. I’ve been lucky to have met badass classmates in my Emag class, it’s been a struggle!

Just discovered your channel today and it’s the best thing I’ve done on KZfaq today, thank you so much. Currently studying Electrical Engineering and I’ve been searching for a KZfaq channel where I can look up to my seniors in the field, to be motivated when the journey becomes tough.
