My takeaways from this video: 1. "Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right". Basically, your perception of reality greatly affects your reality. Your mindset is the foundation of everything in your career. 2. Learn skills that are in demand (meaning there aren't much supply of it available) and that you are interested in. These 2 conditions should go with each other; if one isn't satisfied, then you probably won't be getting value from that skill. 3. Somewhat related to 2, build skills that are catered with your curiosity. 4. Take care of your body. All your hardwork will be for nothing if your body can't keep up. 5. Listen to the voice inside you that tells you to do what you really want. Even if people tell you it's delusional. However, only allow "healthy delusions". Of course, you would want your wants to still be achievable. Also, just pretty interesting how Andrew Hubermann is almost always mentioned in productivity videos. I think I should try watching some of his podcasts.

How did Nikola Tesla become such a great electrical and mechanical engineer? I read during his last year(s) at university, he was failing and decided to drop out before getting a degree, and yet is arguably the smartest mind that's been on earth.

Sir thank you for your videos. Could you tell us how we should learn topics and get good marks when we are freshmen ( after 12th we don't even know what engineering students face,- I don't know!) I'm asking how to finish topics and get good marks. Like attending class+ and doing assignments +self studying class topics enough?

Great video as always. I'm a junior in engineering and haven't been able to get an intern. How important is this if I want to reach the goals you mention in this video? Can I compensate by listening to my inner voice and focus on developing my own competence?

“Per se” is Latin for “through itself” or “in itself.” When you say “per se” in a situation where you couldn’t say “in itself” it makes no sense.

08:48 this statement is dangerously false. There are many skills that are in high demand that are not well compensated. My partner is a phramacy tech at a hospital that sees daily disruption due issuels resulting form their lack of staff. They still don't make enough to rent comfortably with a rommate in our city.
@alithedazzling

that means the skill is in demand, but the management has figured out the absolute minimum people needed to get the job done and save money.
