What do you guys think about the new character models, yay or nay?

I like the multi-shop small poi's. It adds to immersion, given that we see these types of building layouts everywhere in real life.

This update brings a lot of different armor sets, I'm looking forward to armor racks or anything like that, to be able to decorate the base with armor sets or use it to quickly change between different armor sets . And having updated the armor system, I hope the weapon system will also be updated in the future.

Starting to really enjoy the sheer variety of POIs, how it seems like its going to make for some fantastic towns and cities to explore. Pipe dream but I'd love in some future version to get a player map creator, to be able to build your own maps rather then just generating one.

i am always down for some more POIs it helps the inmersion for me at least, BUT THEY NEED TO FIX THE GOD DAMN FRAME DROPS.

I love how the devs never left this game. I remember the first time playing it on release. I loved it! But now i can't seem to go without it. IMO, anything they add is a bonus. Good on you Fun Pimps. You have my overwhelming support.

It would be perfect if Devs make tier 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 POIs Imagine how much time needs to clear out that tier 8 building with 4 of your friends. That would be amazing

they should have a zombie filter so you can toggle off certain types. or make it to where all are one type without mods

Need new and different weapons, like a .50 BMG or a claymore, grenade launcher to name a few.

The idea that changes to zombie clothing to randomize them as a small change that isn't all that important but classifying character models as a significant change to the overall quality is weird to me. I never really see my character model......

im Loving The PC version so far.. i just got aboard.. been playing ps4 version..

They should just wait till they can release bandits and weather system otherwise it’s not going to be the big update that brings in new players and gives the game popularity

What i mostly dislike that Zeds can use ladders or even stackup to reach higher placed ladders.

As a POI junky, I am always most excited about new POIs.

I know it's a minor thing, but the Tourist isn't wearing a jacket. It's a bowling shirt.

I'm used to "zombie variants" meaning a more substantial difference between them than their hair-styling product choice.

If the Fun Pimps can get fsr 3.1 on this game for PC and consoles, then everyone will benefit and the game will definitely run properly on less powerful machines.

its a shame devs cant work a way to randomise the zombies giving many more variants. Lacks immersion when its the same ones in different shirts!

I'm not a fan....there's way more stuff that was/is required for me and many to give this 1.0 thought any bearing...The positives: Zombie alternate clothing, New player character models and new grace and demolisher models. The rest I cant give any real credit to as Overhaul mods and POI mods have way more to offer in terms of POI numbers and updated "crops" or vegetation/textures on things(even though these wont be available on console). Have they fixed zombie issues? Like the drop on all fours insta-zombie dodge? The glitchy zombie head dodging(very noticeable if using a knife on a zombie)? The hitboxes of zombies?(Specifically the player getting hit with no animation or the animation not connecting) The crazy levels of lighting changes in doors during a storm? (nearly completely dark which makes no sense) The FPS tanking in cities? Zombie "spawn" issues during quests breaking the quest entirely? Zombie spawns during a roaming event? (they fall into place and many times I've seen half or more just stand there doing nothing) Hell, Zombie spawns in general when they "pop" in after you enter a room?(I don't even understand how this happens so consistently and people have ignored it) Have they fixed the player being shunted/teleported through walls/floors? These are all basic things that should've been fixed and had better be fixed before they decided 1.0 was now. I have not seen any youtuber covering these issues being fixed as of yet (many of these weren't covered due to the "last" event being considered Alpha 22 not 1.0). If these aren't fixed, 7 days is going to get review bombed into the ground and honestly deservedly so as these issues should not exist after a decade in development at a 45 USD price tag.

for POIs I need better, lesser tedious tier 4 and especially 5. It's the reason I'm not playing at the moment, endgame POIs are annoying, way to big and convoluted, and bug out on missions quite some times

At least it will look pretty, but the zombies have a 3 block reach to hit you and the hitbox on their head with arrows is a joke. I have played this game for almost 10 yrs and always loved it but it has serious problems they refuse to fix. Now the console players can enjoy having to collect 100 magazines to get a particular skill as well.

My pc doesnt have a lot of power so hering better models doesnt sound good to me

What's the point improving character model when it's stuck as first person? Hope they give us 3rd person without having to use admin mode.

I never liked special zombies, they should add an option to do regular zombie mode where the world just has slow moving regular zombies that are only killable from head hits or cutting their heads off and just have a lot more zombies all over to make up for not having specials.

For a 1.0 release, this seems . . . lacking to say the least.

I wish they would make more zombie models or atleast make few changes to the ones that are already in the game, like different clothings, scars, wounds etc on all of them 😁

I hate the new models because you have to be a body builder and you can't be a fat guy like my character has been since the beginning. They keep cutting out more and more options in favor of better and better looking people. I don't want every person to look like a model. It's unrealistic, unrepresentative, insulting, and frankly just super lame. The fact is, I could create myself in the game before, and now I can't.

Can't wait for this to come out and everyone realizes its the same broken trash game we've had since alpha 18 and no HD skins will make a damn bit of difference. Also there has been ZERO testing on console and when people find out that they had to rebuy the game AT FULL PRICE (discount only applies to people who purchased the digital version) and its barely playable then its going to get a The Day Before treatment. I call it now, 6 months from now and this game will be abandoned for the new Bloodmoons game that they can milk thousands in micro transactions out of.

Yay pointless reworking of old features instead of adding brand new things. The game is like a decade old now nobody who buys this game (and I highly doubt many people will be paying nearly $50 for this game now) is expecting next gen graphics and models. New is always neat but ultimately pointless EVERYONE who has played more than 20 hours of vanilla plays with mods which include more exciting POIs than the same old that TFP puts in. Mod community has shown that so much could’ve been done with this game if they just stopped touching stuff they reworked for the 50th time

Meh. 12 years of development and their graphics still somehow look outdated. Get prepared to be DLC'd to death for real $$$. Its the only reason theyve decided to leave early access. Now they can charge you for doing the same thing theyve always done, update. But your going to pay for these things one by one.
