Did you know there are foods that stop the itch? Polyphenols and bioflavonoids are just a few excellent nutrients that help stop the itching. These are histamine blockers and it's the histamine release that causes that unwanted itching.
In this video I give you 7 excellent foods sources that act like anti-histamines.
Don't forget to check out my other videos especially the 10 foods to avoid herewith!

Try ginger, it's effective for me. Crush the ginger in small pieces as you can and get the juice of ginger and apply the affected itchy area of skin. And try to zip a little amount of ginger juice. And it's effective for me. Hopefully you as well. Just try .

This was interesting ! For more than 20 years I'm caring for my daughters diet trying to cope with atopic dermatitis and eczema . It's definitely a personal journey for each of them with all kibds of variables and I find trying out everything little by little is the only way working ! You can find " Quercitin " in supplements but it's present in all vegetables and fruit peels so eating non-treated veggies only scrubbing slightly is top ! However , thank you for tips , inputs and facts to back-up 👍👍 I often get very very tired in this never ending struggle !
@Leila_Eczema
@Leila_Eczema Жыл бұрын
Glad you found it helpful. Quercetin is good but reducing your histamine intake is more natural and less overload on your body to deal with more supplements. Fruit and veg peel in theory is full of nutrition. However bear in mind how many pesticides reside on peel that often don’t necessarily wash off. Good with you daughter’s healing. I know first hand want a struggle it can be looking after someone with a skin condition.

Hi Leila. Thank you for a great video. I was wondering if you also had asthma going through TSW. If so, did you still take medication during TSW?
@Leila_Eczema
@Leila_Eczema 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Peter! Yes I do have asthma although mild as it’s only when I do intense exercise. I did take becotide during my TSW on rare occasions as I didn’t exercise very much. That said my practitioner said my inhalers would not effect my TSW healing. In fact, it didn’t seem to hinder my healing at all.

I have an appointment tomorrow to see my dermatologist. After six months of TSW I’ve decided to go on dupixent. I only found your channel in the last few days. I’m keen to go on a strict diet following your videos. Do you think I should continue TSW without the help of dupixent and try stricter diet and heal naturally? It was a really difficult decision for me to make. It took a lot of sleepless nights pain and suffering to make that call. Where I live it’s very hard to make appointments with specialists so I don’t want to miss this chance to start dupixent because I’m suffering so much but at the same time I watch your videos and feel like maybe I can get better without dupixent if I follow the diet. I would love to hear your thoughts.

This is really hard to answer without knowing your skin history and how long you have been on steroids, strength, other immune suppressants etc.... I am not a medical professional as you know my channel is all about sharing my experience with you all and how I healed . This protocol has healed many others and I council those who have been on IS's and those who haven't and will say that it does take longer to heal if you have been on IS's as the body has to re-learn how to heal itself. Its a very personal choice. Do your due diligence and research others who have gone through TSW and used IS's and those who haven't. Good luck with your appointment.

Hi Leila. Another great video. So I've suddenly became intolerant to all high histamine foods. I think it's do to a surgery where they took out 4 ft of my large colon. I can't find anyone locally to help me or understand what I'm going thru. I've tried eating low histamine. It's helped a litte but not completely. I'm just not sure what to do and going crazy dealing with this constant itch, insomnia and anxiety. Any ideas by chance? :)
@Leila_Eczema
@Leila_Eczema Жыл бұрын
Hi Cindi, I would recommend getting an IgE test, intolerances test (blood) and a sensitivities test (stool). Ask your doctor and insist that this is what you need. These tests can accurately pin point everything. Post surgery can be tricky as the body is still coping with the intense inflammation. Why was your colon removed? A low histamine diet does take time but identifying your exact needs is best to be done with testing. Do you have anyone treating you at the moment?

Frankincense oil (Cartieri, Sacra or Serrata) can be applied topically directly on the skin 2-3x a day if needed. It really takes down the inflammation. I get hives that have a burning itch & Frank.oil alleviates it for many hours, I apply am & pm. For the worst spots I put a dab of organic castor oil on each spot (on top of the frank oil) at bed time. It's a thick & is best used at bedtime. They can be mixed together (1-2 drops Frankincense oil & castor oil) & applied on the face or larger area. Helps dermatitis too! Drinking Stinging Nettle tea or Burdock tea- both are mast cell stabilizers that will down regulate allergic responses. Drinking water with lemon (2-3cups daily) to help clear the liver. Histamine back up in the liver & make allergic issues worse. Taking Boswellia (Frankincense resin) orally can be very helpful (strengthens lungs) - general adult dose is 500mg am/pm, Comes in 250mg if needed. Inflammation responds to bigger dose. I will never be without it. Also 2000mg vitamin C helps boswellia work better. Boswellia has a natural steroidal effect in the body (minus side effects).
