Raith Rovers winning the Scottish League cup, something like that won't ever happen again. But it isn't just the masses of money invested into the PL for Scottish footballs decline. The turn of the millennium saw 'no ball games' signs all over every town and city in Scotland. Which saw a 'Playstation Generation' of youngsters in Scotland as opposed to a sporting generation, with an increase in obesity. Because before Andy Robertson and Keiran Tierney started playing professional football, there was a drought of talented young Scottish players coming through the system.

The so called Romanian "businessmen" became rich from having business with the government and like the oligarhs in Russia are from secret services. These kind of people also don't care for sport . They care only if the sport can earn them some money. If they didn't they don't care anymore. So the only thing that we Romanians can do to save football is to copy the Germans and create new teams from scratch fan owned . Otherwise football in Romania will cease to exist.
