I have been a dividend focused investor for a long time. This does not mean I don't own growth stocks, I do. A well rounded portfolio should be a mixture of both categories. One way to minimize the anxiety out of stock market investing, is to make sure you keep a large cash cushion. I invest in the market, but never put all my money in market.

Dividends are dope. Personally, I sometimes use my dividends to buy other dividend and growth stocks for diversification instead of reinvesting in the same stock. To each their own methods though. The good thing is that you’re investing in the first place and that’s what’s important. Salute for the content!

I really like the Young Investors Podcast and listen every week. This channel though seems to be endless “the world is about to end”, “it’s coming!”, “Michael Burry said something!” Clickbait stuff. Nicely presented but feels a bit repetitive and hollow. It would be nice to see those fancy graphics explain how to do something rather than just showing X has moved to Y.

The big plot twist in all this is that while the Vision Pro is perhaps still years away from being a major revenue driver, this year Apple will do that classic Apple thing of being late to the game but showing everyone how AI is done. Expect them to be the first to really capture the minds and wallets of the consumer with their AI iPhone later this year and blow past the competition.

He did, during the FU interview. I remember because he used Trump’s tactic, phrasing it as “Many people are saying” that the top ten car companies would be Tesla and 9 Chinese EV makers. I’ve never heard anyone say that, and Tesla itself is only 7% of the US car market. A bunch of unknown brands taking over the market ain’t happening.

No, he said they'd destroy every western automaker except Tesla if there wasn't trade protections in place. Tesla has been competing with the Chinese automakers just fine in China for years while other western brands have been hemorrhaging market share there.

AMS55K will blow through the roof. I'm a bitcoin maximalist but so many noobs to the scene will see it in the top ten, realise it can be staked without tying it up and that it 'looks cheap' compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Yeah... I'm out. The last months... really 2023 had very useless videos. Your editor does fine but the content just isn't there Brandon... I'm still glad you didn't go the route that that the channel could have potentially taken in being scammy and scummy like some other youtube finance and investing channels. Ads, selling products on top of severely lacking content (albeit it's really hard to create truly useful content) means unsub here

Relax. Agreed that this was a filler episode. But you can't always deliver. Brandon is still the best finance channel out there.

@@roketynoramallorca2882 you seem new to investing and inexperienced/ignorant(not an issue - we all start out that way). Assuming Brandon continues on this current path/making similar videos, let me know if you still feel the same in 5 years and after having read 3 or more books on investing. KZfaq in general isn't that great(in this context) and there is no substitute for doing your own research. This(channel) just simply isn't worth watching for me. Time better spent elsewhere.

Hey @prafed, we had to hold the video for a few weeks to sort out some sponsorship stuff! Some of the stats have thus moved a little, but all the info still stands. Also is terms of the pronunciation, I say Tesla the same way Elon does!

A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
