Back in the day, when I purchased my first home to live-in; that was Miami in the early 1990s, first mortgages with rates of 8 to 9% and 9% to 10% were typical. People will have to accept the possibility that we won't ever return to 3%. If sellers must sell, home prices will have to decline, and lower evaluations will follow. Pretty sure I'm not alone in my chain of thoughts.

If anything, it'll get worse. Very soon, affordable housing will no longer be affordable. So anything anyone want to do, I will advise they do it now because the prices today will look like dips tomorrow. Until the Fed clamps down even further, I think we're going to see hysteria due to rampant inflation. You can't halfway rip the band-aid off.

That's awesome! Diversifying your 350K portfolio with the help of an investment coach has really paid off. Making over $730k in net profit from high dividend yield stocks, ETFs, and bonds is quite impressive. Your investment strategy seems to be working wonders for you!

I'm not kidding when I say that the market crash and high inflation have me really stressed out and worried about retirement. I've been in the red for a while now and although people say these crisis has it perks, I'm losing my mind but I get it Investing is a long-term game, so focus on the long run.

I can’t focus on the long run when I should be retiring in 3years, you see I’ve got good companies in my portfolio and a good amount invested, but my profit has been stalling, does it mean this recession/unstable market doesn’t provide any calculated risk opportunities to make profit?

The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

I see the rising interest rate as a very big problem, as more investors will definitely pull out more money from the Stock market. This might have worked when I was still invest-ing with a couple thousand dollars, but it is more difficult now to decide whether to pull out more than $365k from my port-folio. I know some inves-tors still make that despite the strong bear market. In wish I could pull that feat

I think the whole thing about holding stocks for long term will always apply. So I think you should get a quality broker who is able to analyze and pick stocks that will do well in the long term, else you will be in a long bear ride.

You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a broker, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.

Well explain thank you for bringing up this video Financial education is indeed required for more than 80% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject. The value of the US dollar is declining due to inflation, but it is increasing in comparison to other currencies and commodities such as gold and real estate....This all spells a reset which none of us know..... I have bought Bitcoin as a store of value while also actively trading.....managed to grow a nest egg of around 200k to a decent 732k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

I’d be interested to see the performance by dividend income for all of these players vs the S&P 500. Considering the soaring inflation, how can I possibly safeguard and grow $350k cash reserve into a 7 figure ballpark for the next 2 years?

Sorry bros, I bought the stock around 185 when Munger touted it. Since then, the stock has only gone down. So has my portfolio. The universe hates me. The only way it goes back up is if I decide to abandon ship and sell my shares. The universe will then prompt BABA to go back up. But I'm not selling. Sorry bros.

Thing that stuck out at me is the clip of Jack saying "2.5% dividend - somewhat lower than history". Today, our S&P 500 ETFs return 1.3% dividend... Would like to see companies ramp up their shareholder equity returns. At least buybacks seem to be more common now.
