Mine ate my dad's 110,000 rupee sunglasses. Approximately around 1450 dollars. My dad was so so mad. The next day he was cuddling the little monster. It's impossible to be mad at them, huh? You just love those hypnotizing eyes and the way they make all those tiny sounds. Poor guy didn't even know why dad was ignoring him and followed him around until he picked him up.

@bekind321 it's definitely a phase but will not end if you don't teach them it's not ok. I show my puppy his toys & tell him no loud & abruptly when he has something he shouldn't have in his mouth (he's out of the phase now). It's a constant thing in puppyhood when they are teething.

Best of luck. Get loads of those chewy toys to keep him occupied and stuff to keep them warm in case u live in cold area. Don't allow them to chew on your finger. Not in any situation. And beware. They'll like chain your hearts to them and make themselves the centre of your world as soon as you hold them. It's a big decision. I regret being hasty about it but it's an entire life depending on you. You know there's no one other than you looking out for them. You know there's nothing that they'll love more than you. It's a roller coaster of emotions that can't be put in words. Hope you're ready for the ride.💗💗

I was looking for a smaller beagle, after my first beagle (over 15) developed oral cancer and I lost him. He was 15 inches. I found my new best friend, and she's 13 inches.Her temperment is wonderful. You can find breeders that breed the smaller size beagle. I never found a pocket beagle. The only temperment difference I had between the two was one was a male , my Bella is a female. My breeder told me if I wanted to wait longer for another litter, sometimes you will get a puppy that will be under 13 inches, as an adult. I couldn't wait so Bella is my new baby. I did alot more research on breeders, to find one the wasn't just breeding for only the money. LIKE PUPPY MILLS DO. My breeder was very careful when placing all his puppies. A breeder is the most important connection, you have when looking for a puppy or dog. MIne told me when I asked about the cost of his puppies, that he didn't sell puppies to owners who were only looking to find a cheap or cheaper puppy. I told him I wasn't looking for a beagle, to hunt. I only wan't a puppy as a pet/ companion. He is well known in MIch. to hunters, (he is an avid hunter). His own dogs have recieved many awards. With his help a was showed puppies with traits more suitable for what I wanted. I know this is a very long reply too you. But I hope it helped.

It’s normal! It means there maturing. It’s good for them to mature, so don’t be worried. But if you are concerned, check with your vet!

When we got our Sonia, we were told that 1 walk should be short, around 10 minutes or so. But now she is around 1 year and we take her for a walks up to 30 minutes. (2 longer walks up to 20-30 minutes and 1- 2 short ones (5-10 minutes) There are different opinions though, so you can also check how your beagle will adopt. When they are really tiny meaning 2 months, the only "walks" were in our back yard. She got bigger and more energetic, than we had to take here for walks Good luck with your puppy!

I don't walk my beagle & everyday he goes zooming thru my house trying to run off his extra energy. Since the weather is getting better Im hoping to start walking him. I think walking will help. My beagle is 7 months & he has alot of energy.

Almost all puppies at age 6-8 months will refused to eat breakfast before walking or exercizing. This maybe because their stomatch already switched from demanding three times of food a day to twice time of food a day. My female Beagle also refused to eat her breakfast when she was 6 or 7 months old. Some of my Beagle friends (Akita, Golden and Poodle) also refused their breakfast nearly on the same age. So we usually walked them first in the morning, let them play, then they will eat their breakfast at 10 or 11 a.m. If his poo and pee are good and still actively playing like he used to be, then no needs to worry 🤗

I really feel u. I got my beagle at 3 months old and I was full of scratches and was bitten once. U need to train her to behave and do not give in to whatever she wants.. If she bit u, isolate her and don't give her attention. Do not give in regardless of the howling and barking otherwise she will continue that behaviour growing up. Mine now is 5 months old. Not fully trained but she knows how to behave.

Also, beagle always crave for attention and food.. I used these two to introduce discipline. I was told that not all beagles can outgrow that behaviour..
