Karcher wash from the garage days fusted off and brought back out for the robots weekly wash, they get FILTHY. Sunday morning tom pemberton video what is going on, i forgot last night. Shearing the sheep today, getting everyone in and dry is the main thing, we haven’t got a lot of sheep lambing just over 160 so thanks to these two lads for coming down and getting them nice and fresh. Moving heifers about and I forget three 😂😂
My name is Charlotte Ashley and as of earlier this month I’m a dairy farmer and we milk 120 jerseys and associated followers on two Lely astronaught A5s
-A quick rundown if you are new to the channel I’m not from farming, Social media started as a casual interest in photography and farming combined I was a very green city girl and had a very excitable view of farming sharing it with my friends from city areas and it has grown from that into youtube and all other associated platforms below.
in 2009 i had no experience of farming or the realities that came with it. That soon changed when I met my other half Roy, I had a job as a carer and in every spare moment threw myself into farming. I had only ever driven a Nissan Micra and had experience with horses, I learnt the hard way as nobody had the time to show me and soon after arriving I found myself mothering on calves to three quarter bred limmy cows. We spent every available moment on the farm between our day jobs. Fast forward to 2016 two children later we moved into our very own farm overlooking the northern Pennines, Laitha.
I am overjoyed to be a farmer. I feel so fortunate every day to wake up and do what I love and even better share it with the world and hope it inspires more young people to spread their wings and think outside the box the world needs more farmers.

I'm sure it would be capable of scraping out the shed instead of that rather large one you've got now and you'd get under those back scratcher brushes no problem...😅😘

Hi Dunlop purofort have stood the test of time no cracks or leaking boots in muck and shite 9 months of the year the last a long time I just change when the heels wear down

Go for bulldog wellies they are good wellingtons darling i used to use them all the time and loved the brand even in the muck they were great and comfortable to wear once they were bedded in

I am going to let you in on a little secret, I have a cow who is about to be dried off for her 8th ( I looked it up and yes I am surprised! ) and she has had a nose ring for her whole life since she first calved and when she loses it she is back sucking again even at her age! Actually a good cow even if she is a pain in the ass. Got the last of the ewes shorn last week it was a bit of a struggle this year, must have been about 5 different days of getting some knocked out pity that the wool isn’t worth anything! Love the T-shirt by the way obviously some of your “fans” really appreciate your artistic bent, I am only here for the laugh, ever seen the “ foot rot flats “ comic strip from New Zealand? Well you have the same sense of humour as the guy who did that except he did it from the dogs perspective! It’s stopped raining so time I went herding. Regards from Ireland.

pressure washing its like fires a man just cannot resist a good pressure washer or lighting a good fire does it cost more to shear than you get for the wool ? seems such a rubbish thing.

That t shirt is brilliant 😂. You should start selling them on this site to help pay for the new crush. Charlotte you need to come up with another way of wording it as every time you said she’s sucking the cows off the childish side of me had to laugh 🫢😂. It’s been that long since we seen the sheep I had forgotten about them. I take it we won’t see them until the winter and then the fun will start all over again. By the way I would of used the power washer to. How else are you meant to clean the place. Thanks for another great video
