What happens to the milk produced while the tank is washing Charlotte?

The milk sits in a buffer tank. We had never expected to fit a brand new tank but worked with our dairy engineer, (he’s only a mile away!) thought a new system not a bad idea. The Liscarroll tank is all robot ready and everything talks to each other brilliantly x

The copper stuff you mentioned, if not some mega ££ stuff must've been cus04, copper sulphate? If you're buying anything else just use copper sulphate, usually in 20/25 kg bags, not cheap, but cheaper than any fancy hyped up stuff that only does the same, ie helps kill dig dermatitis and helps prevent foul. Put the powder in the bath first and dissolve it well with the volume wash. Cows instinctively sh#t in the bath as stepping in, thats why automatic ones empty and clean or traditionally, have a bath with just water in then the solution so they sh#t in the water. But I know you can't do that with the robot lay out. I'm glad charlotte the mastitis probs have got a lot better. Clean beds and reg scrapping are everything!

Tiz good watching you cow cocky (dairy farmer) novice’s as we would call you in Australia. You know I’m part of a dairy farmer discussion group and it was getting stale in content till these couple of novice’s came along and started questioning the most basic things we took for granted & hadn’t talked about for years. The end result with us experienced cocky’s was us questioning everything we do and not just the technical stuff and we all learned soo much doing it. Keep up the content showing everything. The good the bad & the seemingly silly in hindsight 👌 Oh & happy birthday 🎉
