Corporations rarely care about anything but profit.

They dont get half as much bad press as they should, because they are massive Sponsors and advertisers in the corrupt media.

Who would blame corporations like these, they're all scum by their very nature. The people at fault are our governments for letting them mislead and get away with these insane Ts & Cs when they contradict gambling legislation and even basic human rights.

Just been telling my mother about this over the phone earlier and she said the government said they were meant to be clamping down on TV adverts, she says it's never been as bad and all they've done is add some small print saying be careful gambling and if you think you have a problem contact gamble aware, that's like selling crack and handing out a card saying if you think you've a problem talk to FRANK!

Even if that was true, this certainly doesn’t make sense as anything other than a technical glitch. I have sympathy with betfair on this. They’ve got to have some protection for what can only be a legitimate technical failure. Very different from the one that voided a casino game reporting some vague technical issue.

Not in my experience, Anthony. My inbox and DM's every day gets new cases sent to me an they're usually about the same companies (many of those mentioned). The small ones are pretty bad too but sometimes people don't realise they're actually owned by the big ones too. Happy for you to bring specific cases to my attention, not familiar with the 32 red one will take a look.

Yes, a conflict of interests especially when half the PL are sponsored by betting companies! People like Betway, pay the PL to advertise at very times round the pitch. You start getting very odd decisions like Sheff United, getting a last minute penalty against West Ham, when the player fouled the keeper.

If ladbrokes were right, why did they accept the bet? They don't in Australia because the law states that they have to pay it out if they took the bet, even as a mistake (Ladbrokes). Miraculous how they don't alter their systems to stop such bets being taken in the UK isn't it? Or is it because they know its a way of keeping extra money because they can do such shitty things?

@@CaanBerryProTrader How would a cashier know it was an accumulated bet? They don't even read the things half the time other than the stake amount, the till works out the return if there is one. They didn't keep the money, they paid out on all single bets, which is correct. I bet the customer knew he was pulling a fast one though.

The same way they do (same company) in Austalia - the till system. The company are the ones pulling a fast one - there's no excuse for it in 2024. They didn't pay out anywhere near the full amount, if you read the articles the customer was oblivious. If these companies can track every inch of a customers life and ensure they only accept valid slips where they operate in other countries they can do it here. It's just that its more profitable for them to pull a fast one, I have zero sympathy for them.

@@CaanBerryProTrader I get what you are saying, but it's a related bet and clearly covered in the rules. You can't bet on a horse to win and get a place as a double, it's treated as two singles. So why would they let you bet on a white xmas in Newcastle and Sunderland as a double? It's almost impossible not to be both, or neither. They probably didn't advertise this at the time, as the marketers don't always understand betting.

It also says that they can keep your money if someone has transfered you money (third party betting) in their rules, or that if they believe you have colluded with someone (like betting tips they advertise). I understand what a related contingency is, but the responsibilty is on them (they manage it elsewhere as I said). We're not in a 1960's smoke filled betting shop with no computer anymore - there's no excuse. Blaming the marketing team or the cashier is weak, these companies turn over billions every year and track thousands of data points, they could at least sort their core business out instead of blaming the customer after the fact. The same company even advertised related contingencies in the past, its boring, its never their fault and they get to keep the money - ridiculous.

@@CaanBerryProTrader True good point. I truly hate all bookies with a passion. I have had over 50 accounts banned/restricted Caan. The best was this year when Betfair did the ol' we care safer gambling compulsory nonsense chat. I said the only problem I have with gambling is getting enough of a bet on as you restrict winners and want losers. As well as no BOG etc even if they do let you have a little go with a tenner or whatever. With that comment they then claimed I had an issue with gambling and banned me (self exclusion they called it) for 6 months. Of course this also affected the rest of the Mafia Cartel of Paddypower, Skybet and even my $10 Sunday Pokerstars game was affected as banned on that too. Had no idea they were all the same group until then! They are digusting in every way. PS Thanks for exposing them and for all the video's. I just wish we could all open an account in Asia.
