While not a weapon you can walk in and purchase at a gun store, the PSA Dagger is a fantastic value. Also with discounts and refunds, the Beretta APX series can be extremely cost efficient.

I'm a Taurus guy as far as budget is concerned, I have the G3C and the GX4. Both have been reliable and easy shooters.

Canik and CzP10 series are priced really well and bring alot to the table.

I'm going to throw the Sar 9 in this pot. Its my EDC. I've had it for 4 yrs now. Its a tank of a gun. Nato specs. Changeable side panels and back straps. Two 17 rnd mags. Got mine just before Covid. Still runs great.

Right now for the money, CZ P-10 series is the best buy you can get. P-10s, P-10c and P-10f can be found from $350-$400 brand new. I don’t think you are finding a better pistol at those prices anywhere.

Okay, I agree the Walther, the Canik TP9 and the CZ75 are great values, but PSA Daggers and AR-15s deserve a shoutout for offering capabilities well beyond their price tag.

I agree with the Shadow 2 being on the list. I paid $1,350 (tax included) for my Shadow 2 OR and converted it to SAO. Spent roughly $200 for a CGW SAO trigger shoe (with adjustable screws for pretravel and post travel) , race hammer, adjustable sear and reduced trigger return spring. Trigger has minimal pretravel, crisp break at 1lb 14oz and a short reset. If you're comfortable with doing the work yourself, you get an optics capable race gun with a trigger that's better than most 2011s for under $1,600. She is a heavy girl though 😅

I remember buying a Tisas Zigana PX 9 that was incredibly accurate! It did have a somewhat high borax and was kinda chunky, but it had an awesome trigger, wasn't extremely snappy, and out of 500 rounds (including hollow point) I didn't have any malfunctions. I did trade it in for a more concealable pistol. I think I spent $300 to $350 on it.

One reason I never bought a Bersa was the cost of extra mags, I buy several extra mags for each model I have no matter the make.

I had a Bersa Thunder .380. Sold it to my son and I wish I still had it. Bought it in 1999 or so. Ran flawless and super accurate. Nice SA trigger.

I own a PPQ and am happy with it, but I'd recommend something less expensive and less snappy like the Beretta APX A1 or the CZ P-10 C. Since you didn't mention PSA with the ARs, I'd love to know your opinion on them.

The Arex Delta Gen 2 are a solid option - reliable, the slide is super slim for a double-stack gun so it carries well, etc.

Cz p10c is around 350-400 and has alot of the features of the shadow

I had a Diamondback 556 with a 1:8 twist... It was accurate and out of 600 rounds, no malfunctions shooting green tip, 55 grain FMJ and soft point, and 72 grain hog rounds.

Budget nowadays is around $400.00, before the Pandemic budget was around $300.00 or less, decades ago budget was around $200.00 or less, paying over $500.00 in todays world is stretching the word budget...😊

The CZ75 platform is more than fairly priced. They shoot well, and the parts mate together and the trigger work gets smooth. And aftermarket work makes the CZ trigger world class.

If you got a 3d printer capable of printing cf nylon, you can have a very solid choice for an inexpensive, but excellent firearm for about $450 with a red dot, $330 without an optic. the digital Nimbus Labs dd19 frame with riptide rails and locking block, lower parts kit, a PSA Dagger slide from the daily deals section, and a cyelee red dot.

I love the DB15! Also just got a good deal on a .45 ACP PPQ.

You've covered a lot of good ones! 2 other budget options that punch way above their price point are the Tisas 1911 Duty (I specified that model because it's the one I own) and the Ruger Super Wrangler.

I still have a key for one of the Taurus's that I had with an internal safety... I don't remember ever using it other than initially checking it's functionality.

I hate that you think Hi Point is not reputable. Ugly gun yes, but repuable company ? Yes they are. there life time warrenty is fantastic. No question ask policy and fast repair and returns.

Arex Delta pistol are severely underlooked. Thin as a Sig X-Macro; 15 round magazines; modular and very reliable with ammo loads.

I bought a BP380CC for my daughter for $260 and it’s awesome. Bersa has also done away with the magazine disconnect in the BPCC series. Can’t wait till the double stack models hit the market.

For me the best budget handguns are the Mossberg MCSC2 because its thin for comfortable carry and has a flush and extended mag also optic ready. Then the CZ P-10 series for quality, ergonomics and they are some of the best shooting striker fired handguns but the best part is price.

I bought my bed side gun which is the M&P 2.0 compact with the 17 rd mag, when I bought it, it had just came out. The sig p320 had just been refurbished, they both were going for $399 back then. I should have bought them both, I also would have added Canik on this list. I’ve got the mete and didn’t like it at first but after I got used to it, I went out and bought the rival.

I have a A Ruger SR9c. This is super reliable & affordable. They are discontinued but you can usually find them sub $300 & if you install the Galloway Precision smooth it kit, you got a fantastic carry gun with a great trigger for sub $400. It is better than what Ruger replaced them with (American, Security 9, Max 9 and imo EC9)

I been hitting the secondary market law enforcement trade in. This week alone I picked up a Glock 42 for 300 and a Glock 23 gen 3 for 350. Both in new condition with all the goodies night sights and 3 mags

You mentioned Finger Print Safes. About a month ago I came across a video where they have a Recall on them for failure to prevent unauthorized access. I don't remember who did the video but it's something you might want to look into. The Taurus G2c is also a good buy and the G3c is available optics ready.

Gotta agree cz is probably the biggest all around bang for the buck brand. I have been impressed with the gx4 also. Another one that i love that was popular a few years ago is the arex rex zero series, its an absolute tank that just works. I would add the arex delta series but i haven't personally shot one yet.

I got a Hi-Point 10mm Added a comp and fiber optic front sight. Works from the factory. Trigger is like a squirt gun tho

I been looking for the BP9 for a while so I gave up, I bought a S&W 9mm Shield (upgraded) and 9mm Shield Plus later on. Both have 3 5/8 Threaded Barrels. My Primary Carry Handguns.

One of my favorite budget guns and just an all-around great shooter is the Sar K2. If you're a CZ fan, this is, imo better than the 97b. One used to be able to get them in the $300 range, but I think they're running around 600 these days. It's still worth it at the price.

Canik TP9 Elite, M&P 2.0, CZ P-10, Arex Delta Gen.2…even a PSA Dagger is a great value, especially if you replace the trigger shoe.

IWI Masada Slim is a great budget gun too. About the same size as a P365, fits 13 rounds, under $400

A very underrated Budget Glock 19 Gen 3 clone is a Anderson Kiger9c both the standard version and pro version with optics cut. Takes all Glock 19 Gen3 parts and fits in all Glock 19 holsters. The frame is great as it is made by SCT and the trigger is great. It is a little more than a Dagger which is great as well. But the Kiger is a great option.

I'm a fan of the Tisas px9 duty or carry around 300 bucs great trigger good sights and they use glock sights sig 226 mags the grips have interchangeable side panels and back straps multiple color options very accurate and reliable. Oh and they come optic cut with 2 magazines all in a nice case

Nice choices. Just so you know, there have been a couple of new claims against the 320 mysteriously discharging in the last few weeks. I saw the PSA had the Navy Seals Foundation model on sale last week. A question in the comments asked if the unintended discharge feature was extra or if it came standard. The reply is actually worth visiting the site to read. It might go against some YT policy for me to recite it. I only have one 320, an X-Five. It's been exceptional in every way the few years I have used it. Considering an X-Ten based on that experience. The Beretta APX with the full width frame are wonderful pieces. Made a ridiculously low bid on one on GB before the Plandemic and won it. Fine. Picked up factory full-size mags for it at about 10 bux each. Apparently no one was buying them. Really good gun with a nice trigger and excellent sights. I picked up 2 compact Buffalo Cartridge Company BRG 9mm when everything dried up. They were inexpensive. 2 for less than a G19. They're really nice with great triggers. Seeing the Bersa you presented, I wonder if it's a copy. It does have a 1911/XD type grip safety which some folks despise. I grew up on 1911, so I don't notice it at all.

IWI Jericho is a CZ 75 alternative, better price, great shooter. Drawbacks are holster availability and mag price. Cz75 mags work but no hold open on last round. Baretta px4 is another great choice.

I really like my $670.00 Rock Island 9mm 1911 A2, I bought 10 years ago and last month I added a 10mm 1911 A2, also a Rock Island for $703.00, I got a couple more mags last week. Why the two Calibers? One is for anticipated two legged bad dudes, the other for large four legged bad actors, as in Moose or Brown Bear. I want to meet the threat with the appropriate answer without endangering others

I picked up my CZ P07 on consignment for just under 400 at my local FFL with 3 mags, 200 target and 100 self defense rounds. Prior owner had less than 100 rounds through it. I'd love to be in Shadow 2 range but not there yet.

I know its probably a lot but could you maybe do one of these for low budget conceal carry guns that are on the CA roster? I always see these lists and think "huh I really like this one" but when I go to look it up it ends up not being on roster which needless to say makes it much harder to get them. One that comes to mind is the Canik MC9.

It will not fire without a magazine seated in addition to that internal key safety. 2) Springfield XDE SA/DA with safety that allows for hammer back or forward on safe but terrible DA trigger pull. Discontinued in 2020ish. 3) Sig P365. 4) Bersa Thunder Plus. 15 round 380. Blowback operation.

Bersa BP9CC is the same size at my Glock 43x (fits the same holster). Got rid of mine because it only holds 8rds and failures to feeds way too often.

I bought a Sct frame and slide from Aim Surplus for 3-$400. Most accurate gun I own.

I can contest to the bersa bp9 Had one a few years ago and it blew my mind. Trigger is pretty good for a budget gun. Lighter than my Glocks

i just picked up sig p229 dak in 357 sig. i like p320 x ten. ruger p93 & p95 etc are nice. s&w 1006 & 5906 pistols nice.

My fave low budget gun would be the Tisas PX9 Gen 3 Duty, great trigger and recoil! Takes Sig P226 mags and fits any Springfield XDM holster.

I just bought the Ruger security 9 compact for 293.00 I have the full size security 9 it's a great budget gun with a great name Ruger quality.
