Modders are saviours😭🙏

As a chaotic legacy player, I wish there was a mod to expand extended family member interactions/gameplay (aunts/uncles, cousins, step siblings) beyond just not being able to romantic relationships with them. Family parties, being able to wear you siblings college gear as a child sim, family vacations that actually acknowledge it’s a family trip.

The grass mod looks cool, but what would make it better would be getting mini goats to eat it.

I always interpreted the emotional death as health related given how much our nervous system influences our health. Anger is literally going into cardiac arrest while laughter is a straight up asthma attack.

To those interested in or using MC Command Center, it too can disable emotional deaths as well as control many other things about your game. I think that MCCC would be a good mod for Satch to go into detail about if he has not.

Modders for the Sims are absolutely amazing! They are so talented and I'm always in awe of them. I don't ever want to play the Sims 4 without mods again!

EA would sell each of these individually for £39.99

This mod's real hit as i realise sims 4 just put half baked projects for us to buy knowing fully well that modders will do thier job and for free because they aren't greedy like EA

I love Sim Realist. If you have tried it yet, do a Mortem review. I love the new flow fit too. The animations are amazing in all their mods. Also Lumpinou is AMAZING.

However. Their S&S (Somik and Severinka) cookbook is fabulous. You do have to download the recipes separately, but that’s fine. Always being updated, as well.

for the emotional deaths its also on MCCC mod and that mod has a lot of features and annoying settings we can turn off, like monster under the bed for example

Not so long after I discovered The Sims on my Xbox in May this year, the KZfaq algorithm suggested me that WW review of yours, and your channel obviously. While I continued playing it stubbornly on Xbox, I realized that there were many annoying things that weren't realistic in the game without the mods, for example certain aspects of the game that might apply to the US 🇺🇸 they don't apply to Finland 🇫🇮. As a flightsimmer, I have installed loads of mods for the flight simulator over the years, so using the add-ons is a no-brainer for me. Thanks to your WW review, I finally transferred to my PC a month ago and have installed many add-ons for The Sims. 👍 The fun thing is that a year ago I had made the same mistake with Farming Simulator (oopsy-daisy). 😅

I'm currently doing a home chef hustle; rags to riches, and that food overhaul one is getting downloaded today! Looks so fun. Love anything that adds depth to the game.

I made a retail garden center in the Growing Together world. The lawnmower can sold. The lot I downloaded a community gardens I change it to retail. They put the window flowers on pallets, looking like flowers in garden centers they can be sold also. Fountains, gnomes, etc.

Oh, the emotional deaths. One of my legacy family sims had a nice conversation with a family member, maybe heard a funny story, then went for a shower woohoo with their ex, and ended up dying from laughter on the bathroom floor. One must fear the hysterical emotion.

I wish there was cooking animation overrides for sims 4. I loved watching my sims cook in the Sims 2 because of the semi-realism. I just hate how sims 4 have to constantly perform tricks 😂

Emotional deaths are so funny sometimes. My skm had twin infants and soon died of hysteria. I let it happen cause I found it hilarious 😂

My sim died from laughing right after he WooHoo’d and I was speechless 😭 Like ‘wtf is this!?’ I chose the wrong engagement with Grim and my sim was dead for good lol I had to create a new save file because a Book of Life wasn’t happening 🥴😂

Omg I'll definitely download the one of the rabbit hole activities. Cause sometimes you really just wanna focus on 1 or 2 sims and the other ones are just around annoying you

Cheers Satch !!! Quick question, for peeps with rubbish computers who may have tried these : How do the mods presented run on low end computers ? I love SimRealist mods, I have tried the bank one, the real estate one and the better health care, so much fun but makes my game lag soooooo much and my game is generaly unlaggy despite having most packs. The only other mod I use is UI cheats and I beleive that these mods aren't incompatible with eachother so it's def my crappy PC... so if anyone has any experience to share in regards to crappy PC's and these mods would love your feedback

I like the blend of realism and absurdity that the Sims always did. Sims 4 was a little too goofy...even Sims 3 ramped it up a bit. I do have some old Sims 4 expansions, I might play again if the mods can actually make something of the game. I gave up on the Elder Scrolls games because mods just could not save them....at all. I don't want to buy anymore from Sims 4 so now that loads of time has passed, I'll check out the more realistic mods.

Me: can't find the time to mown my own garden. Also me: let me download a mod to have my sims mown their gardens! 😂😂😂

Now if only we could get free weights then i can make a proper gym

You don't need the no emotional deaths mod, there is an option in the MCC to disable emotional deaths on top of other things

The FlowFit made me cry! I've been wanting more gym stuff for a long time but the one thing I really wanted was not in it? Why no exercise bike? 😭 It's so common in homes and the animation is already in the game, just removed the automatic helmet and make it stationary 🥺

I am kind of a new player, I started playing the sims last year and I bought a lot of the packs, installed a bunch of mods and cc and today even installed different mapscreens and reshade. My game looks like so far away from the original version it's almost comical. But it's only now that I have finally fun playing the game 🤣

You think they would have added chores in the Parenthood pack.

I really thank you for this video as I saw it when it first came out, but it wasn't until now did I have a hankering for trying out some sims mods to spice up my game and just... I don't know add more challenge? For me the only thing challenging is holding a interest if I end up with too large a family. I really need to work on that lol.

The Home & Land Co mod remand that you have Laundry day for 75% of it's functionality. As I don't, and NEVER will, have that DLC, it's not worth the effort of getting it. I need to at least try most of the others.

Why would anyone want the sims to be "realistic"? Sims do exaggerated pantomime like animations that are so expressive, they pull mops out of nowhere, they make potions. All the best stuff is the reality breaking stuff.

Its nice to see a sims 4 hater, i play it but its hard to enjoy it for more than a few days.

sims 4 you need mods to make the gameplay. Better sims 3 everything is out of the box.

I used to have a computer back in the day but not anymore. Sims 4 is so unplayable on console even after I uninstall majority of the packs. I literally wanna cry
