A lot has happened in two years. The pre-mix is twice as much as the powdered bags now in December '23. Picked up some at Lowe's yesterday. Still worth the money and convenience and consistency, but yeah, twice as much. 👀

Do you have a video on how you laid the porcelain flooring? Why did you choose porcelain over wood? Did you have to remove baseboards before installing the floor?

Hi! Install the tile with the baseboards on. I used porcelain because I live in Houston where we get tropical storms and hurricanes often enough that we'll have the occasional water intrusion at a window (due to sideways rain). So, I'm afraid real wood would get destroyed. I lost Engineered wood in one room that way already. I don't have an install video. They sell grout pre mixed? As in you open the bucket and apply the grout? no mixing?

Dont forget those rubber gloves when washing caustic grout

Good point. I actually recommend heavy duty gloves, like kitchen gloves. Or nitrile gloves with work gloves over them because the sand in the grout will shred thin gloves. I completely forgot to wear them this time.

I'm not sure. Whatever they sell at Lowes and Home Depot is pretty standard and works fine. :)
