I am using 18" x 18" ceramic tile with a sheen(gloss).I am suppose to use 3/16" spacers.Can I still use unsanded grout? I was told NOT to use unsanded if the spaces are over 1/8". I already bought 2 bags of unsanded pre mixed grout. Awesome video. Thanks a lot.

What is the best type of grout for swimming pool porcelian tile ? The joints are going to be very very small. (The tiles are almost going to touch). Does TEC color 939 mist come in epoxy and would you recommend this for swimming pool porcelian tile?

I got me sanded Adhesive & grout I don't know if I got the correct one is made by TEC I need some grout for my washroom wall I've use a bunch of creams that don't last long the water knocks down the grout smh can someone please help me what grout is good for bathroom wall the wall that goes were the water comes out I appreciate the help? Thanks!

Use a grout with some sand in it BUT, always use a hardener or acrylic type additive. make sure its color fast so it doesnt yellow over time. Or use an epoxy based grout.

@@philindeblanc what's the point of epoxy grout for non staining "yellowing" if it is very sensitive to bleach.. all bathrooms are cleaned with bleach based products

All cement based grouts these days, EVEN Poly blended grouts need hardeners to help seal the grout. As todays materials are cheaper and inferior to grout materials of decades ago.

fast technique . mix thin, pour on the floor and use floor squeegee wiper to apply over all joints. keep for 5 mins. clean. saves time, energy and easy to clean.

Yes and your grout will be soft and porous, never mix grout that wet , ever .

Nope. Mine is almost like dry pack and just working with it will loosen it up. All that water will evaporate leaving millions of holes that will shrink and crack

use a hardener instead of water. Grout material today is very cheap and inferior to decades ago, so you need that bonding strength to lock in the cells so it doesnt absorb water. Non sanded will shrink with water. Less shrink with additive.

It also depends on materials and tiles i agree. With ceramics its gotta be thin for both walls and floor, because ceramics absorb water, drys quicker. For stones and porcelain moderate , also depends on what size joins are. For all 3mm joins i use thin over floor, let it dry abit. I would use wash backet with sponge (particular tool) for smoothing out joins and fill up if bubbles appears, that's first wash. Never had issues or complain after finish of job till today. Bubbles mostly appear for 2 reasons, 1, improper cleaning before grout, 2, improper squeegee method. If grouting with squeegee makes you tired are after only 1sqm, it means you are doing it wrong.
