I've been unemployed for 7 years, homeless, had a heart surgery and a head stroke, and been in and out of the hospital more than I can't count. At times, I felt so abandoned by God, and my doubts were so severe, I didn't know what to believe anymore. Jeremiah 29:11 seems unreal to me but I held on to a thin thread of my faith. I'm no longer homeless now, I'm not quite out of the woods yet either. But my life is slowly getting better. God has always surprised me and never seems to fail me. God is always faithful 😇👍💓

1. I am your strength (Philippians 4:13) 2. I will never leave you (Deuteronomy 31:6) 3. I have plans to prosper you (Jeremiah 29:11) 4. I hear your prayers (John 14:13-14) 5. I will fight for you (Exodus 14:14) 6. I will give you peace (John 14:27) 7. I will always love you (1 John 4: 9-10)

There is a spiritual promised of the jerico wall. I was sick and the Lord, had me to walk around my house 7 times, and shout hallelujah and praise Him. My sickness stopped and I was healed! It is still there, depends on your belief!!!

Context here is good. Regardless, use these as you put on the whole armor, think on these promises, we need protection, we the Lord and His angel army with us. I cry out for Him on a daily basis to heal me, to be with me, to fight this battle. I am so exhausted. I have been and am in the midst of this. I help many people, have saved their lives, including caring ailing family, rushing people to the hospital, etc. Without fail the PTSD explodes, I have panic attacks, and something will try to derail my abilities, health, wellbeing. Often, and daily for some time, this is from a toxic abusive person.

I will not leave you or forsake you was first voiced in Joshua Chap 1. If you look back to the very beginning and look at God's dealing with Adam and Eve, He did not forsake or leave them. Neither did He leave or forsake Cain. Or Abram, or any of the other chosen people. This behavior of God is written in his character and nature. It is who He is. If we deny him, He will deny us and if we are faithless, He is faithful because He cannot deny himself. What a wonderful God we serve.

I feel like the ancient humans where trying to understand what death is and an amazing person in that time came up with the idea of a God and so death wouldn't be as scary and it became something the people just wanted to believe was true because death is scary (the unknown) so it becomes known all around and evolved into the book that lasted. Just my opinion

Do these promises for us or only apply to the people of that time ?

Jeremiah 29:11 is not a promise for us. It was a promise to jews in exile. We cant cherry pick scripture out of context.

Several of these scriptures are taken out of context. I’m kinda tired of people saying certain things are Gods promises for us today, from scriptures taken out of context. I know it’s usually not done w Ill intent, but it’s not okay to mislead ppl, no matter the motive. For instance, Jeremiah 29:11 … I wonder how that applied to John the Baptist and the vast majority of the early church that were murdered. Nah, fam. Philippians 4:13, All things, refers to being able to endure SUFFERING & hardship. Be real, when a person chooses to put their faith in Jesus they are entering a war zone and though God be for us, we will still have to endure much suffering. It ain’t all cookies n cream. ✌🏽🕊.

Sorry, but 😂 The first one ☝🏼 First promise 😂 Really?? Blessings…. My sister who is very successful today in California And lives with my mom who is heavily practicing Christianity, led me as a teen into going out to clubs!!! And in Spain! She is darker than me and I am lighter skin and she would not only take me to drink with her older friends but to tan in the sun and bake for hours and hours in mid summer at noon, and to burn my skin because she thought that would make her more beautiful But I never would have…NEVER would have done this if I was the OLDER sister!!!!! Never! I’m not like this- I believe! (Believed)!?! She also made our entire family stay in a criminal filled city next to Mexico with tons of drug scammers and addicts to fame and money because of she declared and threatened to leave the house, if she could not date her new obese lover 💕💕even if it was in the worst city….AND my mom she studied nutrition!!! She forced us all to her RULES! -I was only 16 and this guy would be smooching on my sister inside our home in a new city!!!!!!!!!!! God….Jesus…..!???? I talked to God, prayed to Jesus everyday.. Turns out she made it! Became the underdog Queen and is super successful! At everything she does everyone likes her, and I’m still after 30 years of me living in this country she forced us to live in, I am somehow oppositely shunned, not one close friend, no jobs hire me, everyone acts like they are some American royalty, of course more educated, and I’m not only NOT Blessed but I have been abused over and over, been discriminated publicity, denied normal services, dealt with homelessness, ridicule, publicly told I am Wrong wrong wrong, deal everyday with car rage all against me, shoved, laughed at, even not knowing of the snow and being frozen exist in other areas of this country, when I decided to move I found cheaper places, but i don’t know it came with Frost, Snow, Hypothermia, AND with crime!!! AND: All my life, i believed! I was raised with God, and have two religious parents, as well as teachers, and I talked to god everyday, TALKED to God, retained all kinds of Biblical stories, goals, and dedicated myself to being God’s own. Well here I am denied now by from my family in a foreign country, where is the blessing!!!!!!!!!! My son: my baby who has not even seen his own grandparents, who believes in God!!!!!! Can anyone imagine this!!!! They are led by what GOD! It’s crazy…. They claim to believe in the God of the Bible, and Jesus… ?!?!?!? The Two parents who were teachers and took me from my own culture with extended roots and extensive family, that I never had contact as a kid and never made relationships with them because of this very believing family! Who’s first born daughter who ruined my life without a care… at the age of 15, and even now because she actually makes fun of me and talks about me as if I’m the most poop person and they love her! 💕 💗 and stink eye me 🤡 Blessing=torture Blessing=harassment Blessing=disrespectful Blessing=verbal abuse Blessing=breaking me down ? ! It’s been 30 years…. Not to mention this Christmas on the 22 of December they fired me! 3 days before Christmas had to tell my son I wouldn’t be able to buy him many presents or have enough food for his 2 weeks of school, not knowing what to do to pay rent in the frozen winter, because this job was walking distance from our home, and my car has no heater and is missing an oxygen sensor all of a sudden doesn’t work very well I’m truly blessed… I still talk to God, in USA… 30 years, 10 as a mom, almost homeless, and NO family visits, living next to criminals….. While my family goes to the Mayan Riviera, Paris, Spain, Italy, Los Angelses, to Disneyland, to Cirque de Sol, to all kinds of Restaurants, And can’t even visit me son- his own Religious Grandmother …… I can’t even look at myself in the mirror because I think it might break from how NOT Blessed I AM Blessed?? How am I to know what this God is serving good or evil with so many Gods in diferente cultures, while I have been praying for what seems forever…. But things just get worse and it seems nothing can be fixed.. My family is gone. My son! My son has NO FAMILY! 😢 His whole life he has none of this experience of what is to be pet of a family, as a normal human… in another country so much harder…but with less NOT even a family!!!!!!!!!! Blessed!!!!!!!!’ BLESSED!!!!!! I am a mom. A father who is supposed to love his creation do so much of NOTHING! Is neglect…. Throwing more and more wrenches 🔧 Blessings…..??????? My whole life traveling for 30 years of THIS! With my own kid to be treated like he doesn’t matter to a God or his religion and my own religious Family.. I can’t believe …! It’s too crazy!!!!!
