1. Don't think money is important. 2. School never teaches about money and wealth. 3. Your parents never taught you about money and wealth. 4. You were never taught how to make money without having a job. 5. The mainstream media and advertisers want you to be consumers. 6. You have a negative association with rich people. 7. You never take responsibility for your own financial future. Great insights as always, Dan! Appreciate you👍🙌🙏💯

Dan, I think the biggest problem in my life has to be social skills. I wasn't heavily bullied but everyone else seems to have a smooth social growth (making friends, initiating conversations, being "cool") growing up and they never seem to have any problems interacting with others. My childhood was a mess of isolation and anxiety which pushed further and further away from ever socializing. I have dreams of my own to make this world a better place but in the nosedive to success, I have to be good at networking - at talking to people. This is such a big roadblock for me right now because on one end I want to show myself what I'm capable of but I can't help but teeter towards hating myself, that I am the same loser I was in school with nothing to show. It hurts when I know I could've been so much more if only I had a healthier childhood but I already know I shouldn't point fingers; I am in control of my own life now. Still, when my parents compare me to my cousins with their instagram full of group photos with their university friends, smiling, laughing, hanging out, with a grad ceremony picture to fit the rote progression of an average, successful life it really hurts. They had social skills and a good environment; they never struggled as I do. pls dont laugh at this because it's a serious problem i'm dealing with.

I can relate. The only possibly useful advice I can offer is practice and go outside your comfort zone. That and I've come to the realization that interactions with people that aren't worth interacting with are overrated. This goes both ways

Then get out of your condition. Learn how to improve your social skills because, just like u have said, it is important. It is HARD. But when you overcome it, nothing will stop you. Just like being rich. It is HARD because we start as a POOR. our environment is POOR, our parents are POOR, we taught to be POOR. Overcome any problem you have. Nobody can stop you. They CAN HOLD YOU BACK but NOTHING STOP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS.

Man, the 6th reason got me. I was born in a wealth family, and I'm a perfectly humble kid back in my teenage. Yet, people just hate me and associate me with the world "arrogant" without getting to know me or even talk to me. Srly, the media has brainwashed people into think that the rich are evil and greedy, look how many movies that have rich people as the villian wanting to conquer the world. Love your video, btw!

Right now my family is living in my mother home while me as a father renting a small room and learn to code by myself. I see the potential and like you've said before in your previous talk is right, leaving our comfort zone is the answer. I've left the comfort zone before and that is what brought me to the gated and guarded home from the 3rd tier housing. I have a clear path looking for excellency in my every execution. Kudos like always Dan. You were inspiring like you always do.

Hahahaha I know you mean well mr lok and everything you say is helpful and many of us are always trying and looking to follow but honestly the truth is, us 97% are broke because of the 3%. Yous make it impossible for us to climb out the hole and make something of ourselves and don’t say it’s just a mindset issue because it isn’t. Mindset is half the problem but the other half is the rich keeping the poor, poor. There wouldn’t be a huge market with massive profit margins if it wasn’t for the 97% of us. Change my mind And also I know you worked every hard for your money and where you are right now and I won’t say you got lucky because that is an insult too your incredible work ethic but I’ll definitely say luck jumped on your train and helped you find the right stations to stop at. You are 1 in a million and not everyone is gifted with your luck and work ethic and desire to succeed. So when you say anyone can do it, yeah relatively speaking we can but not everyone has the same luck and opportunities that came your way but in saying this I’m gonna give it my best crack and do everything in my power to try and make it but it isn’t as easy as you make it sound.
@veronikaritschel1551
@veronikaritschel1551 5 жыл бұрын
Mh, I understand what you are saying but I don't necessarily agree. 🤔 Yeah the 97 % make the 3 % rich. But we can always choose not to. We don't have to go to the fast food chain that is owned by a rich person. We could go to a local farmer and by our food there. The only reason why we choose not to do that is convenience. Rich people found a niche that was underserved and made a product or service around it. Anybody could do that. So I don't see anybody keeping me poor. I just see people who made it and to some I aspire to become more like. Not saying either of our world views is right or wrong. Both serve a purpose. Mine serves the purpose of helping me grow. What does your worldview serve you? I hope only the best things :)

I remember there used to be a time in my life when My family used to be highly rich and my grandfather was a multi millionaire but one of my drunk uncles lost all the money due to heavy gambling of millions and now I am almost broke and trying to get back and beyond from where I used to be. Have a good day😊.

Dan number one thing I see with people is they don't want to sacrifice to succeed. But in my eyes that's good for people that are hungry more for them.

My corrupt beliefs about rich people always kept me broke.I thought all the rich people are evil,doing bad things with their money.As my humanist perception,these evilish things are enough to stay me as broke.But,that time ı've discovered my corrupt beliefs and started to fix them,thank you for your best tips Mr.Dan,now you're my idol of wealthness !

Show me a rich person who is not selfish, greedy, and consumed by money, show me a poor person who is not selfish, greedy, and consumed by money. If the poor had as much power as the rich, we’d all be blaming the poor for everything. The reality of the matter is there just aren’t that many good people in the world. Great video. My take away, stop pointing fingers and be a good person, money is a tool that will help you accomplish more; more evil or more good.
