@@nigelholland1714 yes. But most people ASSUME that BMW and Lexus are fast. If the perceptions are that your car is fast even though its slow, then the car is not a sleeper. Most people perceive that a stock looking Honda Civic is slow. But if upgraded properly under the hood and suspention without exposing that upgrade can surprise its opponent and beat even a super car. That is a sleeper.

I just sold mine this year. It was a great but of fun, especially in the Winters up here in Alaska. It's the only Mazda I ever owned, but I've been a Honda man.all my life, and the MS6 is the only non-Honda JDM (or any) car I've ever drove whose gearbox felt almost as solid as any Honda. Mine was pushing about 320hp, but I was having problems with the BNR Turb's seals burning out.. The S3 n S4 .i'm just not into turbo tuning as much as other people, but the Cobb Port was sweet & it was worth it for the few years I owned it just to learn about Turbos with. It for now, I'll stick with all motor VTEC, yo... Hah! N/A All Day!

With the amount of cars on this list that had a large price tag the Lexus ISF is most definitely a sleeper. Especially since you can find a good number of ISF's for far less money than a Chevy SS and the ISF has amazing tuning potential along with Toyota reliability.

Any of the SHO's are sleeperz. Or at least the first and last. I don't think they made the SHO's \hen the Taurus went all round and bubbly in the last 90's. I had a 1st gen that I bought at an auction a few years ago just to play around with, because it was beat up, but that thing rallied hard with that Yamaha engine and the 5 speed.

Always wanted that facelift 90s sho with that Yamaha motor and the 5speed. Would be an awesome daily/sleeper for sure

Yah I'm considering getting either a tl type s 2008 100km for about 8k or a Genesis sedan 2013 105km cost about 13k, ik the Acura will last longer but it's old and probably has rust on it but idk yet, it's my first car and I'm stuck on which one to get, I feel like the genesis is more of a sleeper cause to me honestly cause I never knew the lowest trim which is a v6 has 333hp 291tq 0-60 in 5.4 seconds.

I dont remember if it was the RL or the TL, but Acura made an AWD Type SH for a couple years in the late 2000's with a 6 speed trans. There is 1 up here in Alaska, and the owner will never part with it. I want it sooooo bad... ⁰
