I think the drone idea is actually really cool idea. You can use it for full body photos when you have no one or you can use it as a portable phone stand to film and it's great for traveling for when u want to have a shot of the mountains. it's small and compact and I'd say it's something that would be put to use more often than we think. I'd be really cool if it followed you, and you can finally film a vlog with you in it. because I find it frustrating that I can't film with myself in the vlogs.
@levector2445
@levector2445 Жыл бұрын
Why not just make a small drone that charge through c to c so you plug it on ur phone, vivo just have to release the drone separately to access a way bigger market than just vivo phone users, everyone would cop a tiny vlog drone if it gets good android integration and costs less than 100

Mobile tripod you always have with you. For the most natural looking photos you really want to take it from at least 10 feet away (it's a focal length thing--same reason why your nose looks ridiculously huge with the lens right up in your face), which means either having a partner, or a tripod. Or in this case, a drone you can pop out and put into stationary hover for a minute or so.
@alexbabich2698
@alexbabich2698 7 ай бұрын
By the time it comes out AI will be so good you don't need to know how to fly it and you would be able to talk to your phone like its an assistant so you just tell it to have the drone go out and take great pictures of you for the next 30 minutes and then it fly back inside to recharge.

I can see a legitimate use for transparent phones, which is AR. The selfie camera (and/or potentially other sensors) could track your eye and display things based on that so it wouldn't be just a camera footage with added stuff but a proper added layer on top of reality.

Wearable tech with AR is probably where it is all going. The call comes into your sim fitted smartwatch and your AR glasses project the image from the phone (or give the appearance of it projecting only to the AR glasses wearer) of the person calling. People who played 'Pokemon Go' (like my kids did) have already seen AR in action and the watches could incorporate kinetic charging through the natural movement of the wearer which, as far as I know, hasn't made it to wearable tech yet but has been seen in wristwatches in the past. I think the idea of actually having to hold the 'phone' itself will diminish as time and tech go on so all of this fighting for the latest and greatest application of the form factor (messing with how flexible/big/small etc) is possibly a step backwards or treading water whilst the rest of tech catches up.

Kinetic charging is viable on regular watches coz of the tiny battery, it can't be compared to a smartwatch's power usage I think. And AR might be too intrusive for many people who want less digital world and more reality. It would prolly be very useful for a lot of types of work, but I think screen devices will still have their place as an isolated, unobstructed & high quality viewing experience that you don't have to turn into a cyborg to enjoy.

I was thinking about what I would want in a phone many years from now, perhaps a phone that attaches to a wristband and looks like a smartwatch, but you can pop it off and it then unfolds into a very thin full size phone. That would be very practical.

Honestly with the amount of upcoming influencers I think the phone with the drone may be a good seller. Yes you'll need to be careful not to get it stuck in something and you'll have to keep it charged (I assume it'll feed from the phone battery directly) but it would eliminate the question of "where do I prop my phone so I can record myself" and it opens influencers up to more trick shots if they so desired

Such a cool video! Although I found it weird that you think transparent display is nothing more than a gimmick. Right off the bat, I can think of so many applications - and it doesn't have to be a full-length transparent display, it could half or something. But the main point is it can bring augmented reality to phones - so beyond all the gaming applications, it could improve walking navigation, guided camera performance, among other things.

The Samsung transparent phone looks like something out of a movie.The foldable iPhone if it makes the market would surely sell out as it would be much more compact and comfortable to cary around and just as u said it wouldn't have many problems.The Samsung tetris would also workout if they would be able to fix any side touch problems. Thank u sir for sharing this entertaining information.I expect more beautiful videos and sir how about one on drones

I actually liked the drone camera phone best. You could sell that as a separate accessory you can replace from time to time. If you use it sensibly, you can take some great photos from up above, from down below, and some cool pan shots. If you use some decent AI so that it doesn't bump into stuff, and the blades are made of flexible material, it would be very cool. You need to get a permit to buy a drone in most countries. But because this mini drone can't fly higher than 25-30 high anyway, it might not need it

I actually think the drone camera is a pretty neat idea - and if it can shoot high quality video, has decent battery life, and proper collision detection, I could see it being a real winner. I also would like to see features that utilize lidar cameras being better implemented - like creating 3D models that can be inserted into video in real time. You could make your own movie with integrated CGI!

Make the screen wireless and all the internal parts go in your pocket. So the phone is really light. Make the screen fold around your arm like a thin wrist band. Totally flexible, but takes the shape of a screen when removed.

The "arc display" also has one massive flaw (beyond the general software issues mentioned in this video). How are you going to protect the a screen that wraps almost all of the way around the phone? There is practically no way to put a case on it so you can have any type of raised edge to protect the screen from impacts and (since flexible screens are soft) that means you are more likely to damage your screen even if all you do is put it in your pocket. It's going to be a LONG while before technology allows us to have an "arc display" that is durable enough for the everyday user. Yes, I know that these are only patents and not real designs at this time and they are basically the equivalent of throwing ideas at a wall to see what sticks and most patents don't ever see the light of day as real products, but when I see something like the arc display, my brain immediately goes to "that display won't last a week in the hands of the average person".
