Very enjoyable video...hope for some more. There is many high profile cars using lower end engines...like Jag XJ220 used one V6 from plebial MG Metro Mercedes is now probably the most used car engine in some exotics...most notably Lotus in Emira has 2.0 turbo AMG, also Aston Martin use of V8 all from DB12 amd DBX707 to the upcoming Vallhala...similary BMW is giving its V8 in SVR versions of Range Rover Sport and V10 to Ascari or R6 to Wiessman, Morga Aero also used BMW V8.numerous more are using BMW and Merc powerplants

The Ariel Atom 4 uses a turbocharged 2.0 litre engine, also used in the Honda Civic Type R. 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds. 0-100 mph in 6.8 seconds.

3:18 Weight does not significantly affect top speed, power and aero does. It will affect acceleration, though.

LS7 is not the one that is legendary for swaps and being in all those supercars. They're usually based on LS3, if I'm not mistaken, or LT1 lately.

🙂 Nice informative video👍🏻. But i think for small companies its harder to produce their own engines. Because engine making is such an expensive thing to produce from scratch! So that's why they depend on giants to stay in business. But no worries now the world is going for E.V 😂😂😂 so they don't depend on them for parts. I wish that the world will stay as it was i love engine based vehicle no one can replace them they are pure fun to drive. E.V cars are the shity explanation from manufacturer's to reserve fuel for their own countries secret purposes that's it. Otherwise modren engines are more fuel efficient and at their best in every aspect. E.V on other hand needs to charge regularly like world is producing and giving electricity for free 🙄 and they can't even survive in harsh weather. I'll ride my cycle if combustion engine gone from this planet😂😂😂 it's better to ride a cycle than driving an E.V😂😂😂😂
