They had some great ideas but 600 hours in assembly? They should have started to build them and gradually the operation would have gotten streamlined. Start with a base small block V8 mid engine, paddle shifters, rigid and light weight with a targa top keeping rigidity with the full roll cage shown in this video. Aim for about $40,000 - $50,000 and they would have sold a ton. Then have other models with different options for more. Then they could have also offered them without a drivetrain for those with the means and time to do it themselves. But we all know that would have been a sliver of total sales. Moronic management.

My 4cinder fiero easily hit 100 moh. The 6 could do wuite s bit more. They were fun but pointless cars trapped at 20mpg. Mine had terminal electrical issues due to a stupid design that placed the wiring harness within 1” of the unshielded exhaust manifold; a problem that the 6 did not have.

My two cents: I bought my 2019 Toyota Yaris L over 2-1/2 years ago, when my prior car's engine was destroyed and I needed something pronto. I had heard this was a reliable commuter car that got great gas mileage, and for this 100-mile R/T daily commuter that sounded mighty fine. I've piled on the miles and routinely take the car in for service, and I can only hope this car will last because I am very happy with it. Plus it is comfortable! Each to their own. 😁
