It might be that most Indian journalists are very hard left and when they move slightly to the centre they feel they are making a big sacrifice and doing dehyphenated journalism. I will encourage you to pull up all his videos covering 2019 elections, Covid-19 coverage (especially the 2nd wave) + Old Modi interview of 2005-07 + Gen V K Singh's COAS fiasco etc. He finds it very difficult to praise the BJP. Very very difficult. And he finds it organically impossible to criticise the Muslims. In fact, I will go on to say that he has never criticised the Muslims for anything, ever. That is very hurtful to a critical mind.

Though Pratap Shima is an excellent administrator and has done very good work the BJP cut him to size. He had a strong backing of Sangh but still failed to make the cut. If a credible/straight talking reporter like SG has gone on this path, where mostly he is tilted towards the ruling party and only in passing calls out whats currently wrong, then one cant blame some of the other reporter who have chosen to sell their souls. Ofcourse IT notices have played their part and i am sure SG is aware of this, he knows there is a line drawn and he cant cross that line.

2. Since Independence, we had J&K where common people used to earn daily money of Rs. 500 per head mostly using stone pelting for a particular group. At times bomb few locations to earn more money. So they believed it to be the ideal life forever. But then 2019 article 370 abrogated caused many changes slowly n steadily. This change was a magic for stone pelters. Today in 2024, the scene is that J&K people started talking that there is a world where people live peacefully n happily without hurting others. It is not only J&K had such head aches, but also many states even today having it. Example, DMK n ADMK for vote capture started giving freebies to common people started by Karunanidhi in 1969. Our people are happy to get the freebies n living as if happy. Once freebies are abolished n development starts, sure the same freebies expecting people will see real heaven on earth in TN. Who is capable of delivering real heaven is for individual though process.

Shekharji is right in putting that BJP has prepared roadmap of even 2029. He is not doubtful about BJP winning in 2024. Also showed the congi mindset while putting the changes in BJP's 2024 list as a surprise/shock for him. Shekharji, you had admitted in the recent past that BJP has delivered and has strongly reached "common man" irrespective of caste & religion. It's a common man who will vote Modiji & BJP for the work done. Political defection is an old story and ideology issues are known to everyone. WHAT PEOPLE ARE LOOKING AT IS THE WORK DONE IN NATIONAL INTEREST, which is only possible if you're ruling. Congress lost the chance to serve the people since 2014, because they relied on their old dynasty records of "so called" development, and took their votebank for granted. This is still continuing, and has no roadmap for 21st Century. They didn't secured our borders as well as the weakest External Affairs, which has totally changed in Modiji's regime. Shekharji, we respect you as a seasoned political analyst and expect you to be more realistic and practical in your views with "National Interest" mindset.

Basic problem is that whatever Congress did in the past when Nehru and Indira Gandhi were PM (in particular) have turned out to be largely bad decisions. Congress is unable to leave its legacy. Rahul Gandhi is part of the legacy and hence unwinnable.

What BJP is doing is the right thing. Unlike Congress and other regional parties, where MP or MLA buys his ticket on the basis of strengths like funding, bahubali image, caste combination etc., BJP choice is based on what is required for BJP and its agenda and nothing else. In fact, we should have Lok Sabha voting based on just voting for the party and after wining the the seat, party should allocate one MP for the constituency. This will reduce the money power and role of such bahubalis in our election process.
